Generally, I don't speak about matters such as this because I'm by no means certified or accredited in anyway.
However, I have heard from an extremely reliable source that the changes made to the tax system last year benefit people who fall under the $60k/yr or less tax bracket. But the problem is that the software most tax preparation groups (Jackson-Hewitt, H&R Block, etc) use will not be updated until after February 3rd.
If you are in the U.S.A and file your income taxes under normal circumstances and you make $60k per year or less, it would benefit you to wait until after Feb. 3rd to file this year.
