Schedule a chat?

Alright so the vast majority of us, if not ALL, who are active came from the real Ayenee...ya know, the chat rooms where anything could and usually did happen...yeah those. :D

We have the chat engine here, but it is sadly underused. We've attempted in the past to schedule RP times, but it just hasn't ever worked out all that well. We all have different schedules. But those schedules also seem to have the tendancy to change.

So, I'm thinking this...one weekend a month, on Saturday evening starting around 8:00 PM central(for those of us in America, anyway) we get together and RP. People can come and go as they please. We can plan something out, or we can just wing it, whatever. But Ayenee was huge when it was chat based. Currently, well...look around.

So...thoughts?
 
And if anyone has a better suggestion for when or how to schedule it, by all means, offer them up. It's just an idea for us to be able to "relive the glory days" of Ayenee.
 
4 Kids and a wife, the 5 most important things in my life take my weekends when work doesn't. Ill make it when I can but I cant promise anything!
 
Madi, I can understand that lol. I was that guy for a while. lol. For that matter, a lot of us were. Hence our presence here. Reliving the past, right? :p

Anti, I have 4 kids, too, but mine are all pretty young. They range from 9 months to 9 years. Around 8:00, if they're not in bed, they're awefully close. The need to spend time with family and do other things was also why I suggested only once a month. Every week would just be completely unrealistic for anyone with kids.

But again, if you guys have a suggestion for a better time I'm all for changing the idea. Maybe Friday night instead of Saturday? Or would a weekday be better since the kids are going to school the next day? Tuesday night, maybe? I own my own cleaning company now so my work schedule is pretty flexible. What works for you guys?

Alright I have no idea what's going on with my posts...quite a few of them seem to be randomly deleting the last few sentences...

ANYWAY...

What I'd intended to say, was that if any of you have a suggestion for something that will work, please let me know. This is just a thought to be able to do more RP in a shorter period of time every now and then.
 
Weekdays are a no go for me but any time after 9pm is ok. As for weekends, the days are hectic n I am never sure until the last minute if I will have a house guest or not.
