Rome

I'm up for it if you're willing to set it up with details and such. Its a very interesting roleplay idea...might even help you out with ideas if you wish.

You might be interested, sounds interesting?

Oh yeah, by the way, I'll play.

Now do you guys want some sort of outline on jobs and such..or just a free for all I'll make a thread and we start posting?

It would be a better bet to NPC some of the more important figures in Roman society such as the Roman Emperor in the time of the empire or a leading senate member in the Roman Republic. Playing the most important figure such as Caesar, Augustus, Septimus Severus or Marc Antony just wouldn't be good for the immersive nature of the roleplay. Why so? Well, its not always well looked upon to play the all-powerful figure in a roleplay such as this.

It would pay well to have at least a brief outline of the setting such as time/setting/location/general plotline and so forth. It's entirely up to you, but the above is what I strongly recommend.

So is this going to be historical or are we throwing in freaky fantasy races like elves and goblins?

I'm assuming that this roleplay will be mainly historically-based, but its up to Synful to decide that.

I notice that this post is over two months old but I really would be interested in something like this. I'd like to play a gladiator slave type deal fighting to win his freedom via conquering in the arena or ultimately dying trying to win it.
