Role Playing here

Okay, when i first came here, it looked like a good active forums where people posted about every few days.
Okay so it has been let me think.. ..... oh yeah THREE MONTHS since i posted my "stories" or "replies" on here. And yes, i am kind of a little ticked.
People dont come here and post liek it says. People dont post unless its a forum thats not for RPing.
I totally understand that people have real lives. I have one too thats coupled with two kids under the age of 5. So anybody who has or had kids knows how difficult or full my day can be. But, when i check my email in the morning i always take time to stop by.
And every board that ive posted on seems to be dead.
If you guys arent going to post on the forums, or if you dont like my story, send me a message and say, "hey, quit posting you suck." it would be way easier than sitting here day after day after day and waiting and waiting for soembody to post a reply when dammit, nobody is going to.
Im new the forums rp, but im not new to rping in general.
Usually the story doesnt stop mid-game. Usually people get bored and whatnot, but i didnt know that they wouldnt give any indication of it.
Look, all im trying to say is this isnt what i was told it would be.
And if there isnt any replies to my posts in the next month, i do think i will delete the New Ayenee website adress from my favorites.

Frustrated,
Ayeath

Madam Ayeath, while I can understand your frustration, this seems to be a problem that I am not certain that can be rectified. Your two Rp posts were posted no less than five months after the Rps had stalled. There is something you posted in the Library and once I figure out why someone decided to move it there I shall fix its placement. As well I am sorry, but it seems you are incorrect about the length of time that your posts have gone unreplied to it has only been a month since you joined so none of your posts could be older than that. As for people posting for Rp if you look in the General Free form there is an RP going there, as well there are two table top style GM'ed rps taking place. As for the demand for a reply to your Rp posts that seems to be something I cannot do for you I can try to see if others wish to join in those RP but I cannot nor would I try to force anyone to join them as people RP for fun and being forced is counter productive to that aim.

Thats the last time i logged in and looked at it. Whenever i go look at something it updates the date and time when posted.
I know sounds weird, but if i went and looked at it today, it would change.
Oh well though. Dont really care anymore.
This is not an active forums.

I am sorry that I am not able to see how veiwing a post will change the posting date or time with out an alteration to the post direct or to the sign up date of the poster, yet I am sorry we are not able to hold your interest with what RP is happening on the boards. I wish you a fond farewell and hope that you find the gaming you are looking for.

Ayeath, from my end it still states the original date the post was made which happened to be on September 2, 2007 and your join date happens to be September 2007. I do remember you joining in September for I do remember you Lobby post with member registration the same day as your rp post.

I'm not sure which bug you are facing right now that is making you see changing dates of your posts on your end, but I think if SJ is asked he could find out if a glitch is indeed happening.

I would also like to point that the time you joined happened to be during our forum's slump, and the fact that after our hacker attack happening a couple years ago we've seemed to of become lost within the sea of the internet for our original Ayenee.org name was also taken by another and turned into an advertisment. Our name changed and people, including some of our veteran members did not know where to find us. Life in general has become difficult and busy for a lot of us as of late for the past few months as well making it harder for us personally to make it and post on a regular basis, possibly even harder for rp specific posts.

Please remember that you yourself are a unique individual like everyone else here, all our lives are different and require unique ways of handling them. Just because your life may allow you time to come and post for rp regularly does not mean everyone else is able to. I myself work a roller coaster schedule ranging from all day shifts, all night shifts, taking care of my wife and two daughters, running errands all day during my free time, spending time with my wife and girls, and trying to find sleep in the process.

I have on some occasions enough time to check the boards, but not enough time to post, and a lot lately my brain is occupied on more important matters like my family and work so I'm unable to even think on the spot of an rp post, even for my own rp that has been waiting for a post since June. On most occasions I'm not even able to get in front of the computer for weeks on end.

Please be patient if you choose to remain here, but also please remember that everyone's rl is different from your own and each busy life does require different from your's. Thank you.
