Need an NPC??

One step at a time. . .
I remember a time, when people were asking for people to play various different NPCs for their plots. I enjoyed these rolls as I tend to not be very good at creating my own plots or jumping into the middle of others.

So, if anyone has need of someone to play some NPCs please let me know. I'll need some basic details about the NPC however and some Do's and Don'ts. I'd hate to offend anyone by playing their NPC in a fashion that's not fitting. ( I.E. Too powerful, not powerful enough, wrong personality type for the roll, etc. )

I've never played with dice. Though I'm familiar with the system in video games and things of that nature as far as determining damage dealt hits/misses etc. Even then, it's still mitigated by AC and all of that good jazz. I'm really not sure how it would work in roleplay. Please explain.
