Mission Twelve: Naze Sorairo

Shasse nodded once more, "Hai, Shosa. Lead the way and I'm at your disposal. I'm sorry I had to do that but I didn't want to risk any repeats... it's the first time I've ever actually, tasted..." she trailed off not being able to bring herself to finish the sentence as she hurried after her officer.

With her mental link, since her current clothing choice contained no comms, the neko contacted Wyatt having seen him run up into the ship before them saying something about status and bridge. "Wyatt, you should be able to hear me, it's Shasse. The naked blue one from before anyway, how're things looking outside we could use a status update as Eden and myself are heading back out to help."

"Affirmative ma'am, sorry for the lack of uniform, ma'am" Wyatt said before finishing his salute and moving over to the seat with a surprising level of calmness being displayed as he strapped his butt in, the memories of what exactly he was suppose to be doing began to flood back as he studied the displays.

"Power successfully diverted to main weapons" he called out before he felt another person rooting around in his head. "Emiko-hei, all enemy craft have been down but expect reinforcements, how are things looking on your side, over" he replied mentally to the Vampire Neko.

Vampire Neko.... he never expected to put those words together.

Chlorate stopped firing the weapons and looked up at Hoshi. "You... You mean...?" she asked, not finishing the whole question. She blushed when Hoshi put her hand on the headrest- only there was no blood to make her facial skin turn pink. Instead, her systems substituted oil, making her cheeks blush not red or pink, but black.

The large aberration that Mark had become moved towards the hull. It was utterly shocked. Annihilation seemed absolute as every gun turned it's way, only to witness the awesome destruction of the other metal shells moving about in the area. Clearing it's mind, it skittered on four lanky limbs across the hull at a startling spped until it crawled into the armor bay. Clinging to the ceiling it waited for someone familiar.

Mark need to see a friendly face, the fear in the still human part of his mind, making the shift back difficult.

YAS KAIYO II PA BAY

"We're not on comms so feel free to be a bit more relaxed around me mkay? Anyway thanks for the update, We're at the PA bay now so we should be able to resuit and return to help the others, mind letting hoshi know for us?" shasse fired back to her circumstancial friend, although Miles had been talking to him pre mission and he seemed like a down to earth guy so she was sure they'd get along.

"Shosa, I've just apoken to Alder Hei and the outside is mostly clear of hostiles, all ships destoryed that we could see. Should we grab the spare mindys and head out to help destroy whatever strange thing this sphere was?" At this point the crimson in her eyes shone brightly and it was clear she was becoming excited at the prospect of more fighting and blood.

"We're still on the clock, I'll let her know, over and out" Wyatt replied before spinning his chair around slightly so that he was facing the pink-skinned Neko at the helm of this organism of a team.

"Hoshi-chusa, Emiko-hei informed me that herself and Eden-shosa are planning on re-suiting to head out and retrieve the remainder of the away team" he informed the Chusha, clearly showing a certain aptitude towards his temporary role as he spun the seat back around to observe his station once more.

The rather dangerous insides of the Aether Sphere

Arete's crying was interrupted with a yelp as she fell downwards again. Apparently some part of her managed to figure out what was happening enough to get her to focus, because after that point she seemingly instantly shut up - her hands trembled as they clasped her pistol, firing it cautiously into the ground. Her armor was loosening- slowly, but it was. A self-muffled whimper managed to claw its way out of her throat, but only just. She wanted out at this point, if they really had a plan up there in the Kaiyo II now...

Aether Sphere Innards

Sacre opened fire, carefully limiting her ammunition expendature. She had Sixty or so rounds left in her Gauss Cannon, so she measured them out as she fired. She shot with her other weapons as well, supplimenting them. As they worked free, Sacre started to move upwards towards the sky.

Hoshi looked to Wyatt, "Good, Ittô Hei. Your efforts are very helpful. Keep me in touch with the two. Gravity-hei? Prepared?"

Power Armor Bay

Once inside the power armor bay, Eden looked immediately to Orias' position on the ceiling and yelped, "Mark!! That must be Mark!" She had put a hand up to stop Shasse in her tracks, forearm over the blue's chest, "Your demon is showing!"

Soranomizu Interior

Care would come out, extremely hot and no longer wearing her Mindy 4.

Aether Sphere Innards

As Sacre shot, the sphere opened up in a five foot circumference. She would be able to slip out if she timed it right!

Arete would notice the ground was turning opaque so that she could see the aethery sphere's other side.

Eyes darting around the exterior cameras for signs of additional hostiles, the azure Neko paused to look back at her captain with a feral grin.

"Ready to blow this gyoza stand! Just gimme the word!"

Aether Sphere Innards

Arete inhaled sharply, only now noticing that most of the team was moving moooostly freely again. Her armor's thrusters flared brightly as the angel herself sought to move, sought escape from this hellhole.

"Chlorate, ten o'clock!" Hoshi said while her grip tightened on the chair and the interior of the hollow water planet opened in a small segment, letting forth water and ships that were ready for a fight, most likely. "Don't let them shoot us or our team first!"

Aether Sphere Innards

Arete was soon sky-rocketing upwards at intense speeds!

That One Aether Sphere Whose Innards Are Quaking

The Santo Hei could finally feel movement, but then realized that... Well, he's running out of time AGAIN! Walter needed to quit being a joke around here, he had to call upon the words of his cruel teachers that had pushed him to be so good at combat in the first place. That, and he also needed to act really quickly.

Remembering that his NSTs are still deployed, Walter used the fabricator module on his back to quickly construct three-fingered, disembodied hands for his NSBs to fit into. While the NSBs fit themselves into the grooves and flew to the ammo drums, he used his Mindy-4 systems to guide the femtomachines into his grenade launchers; he needed them to specifically fill the compressor with air again.

The NSB-hands struggled to get pick up the drums, but through lasers and good old tugging, they wiggled one ammo drum free after another. The both of the grenade launcher compressors were being filled up. Walter unclipped the large ammo belts, caught the drums as they were in the air, and loaded those in. Now he went from no air and no grenades to full air and full grenades.

The NSBs broke out of their makeshift grabbers, and combined with the Minkan's wrist guns, they both fired at his feet. With the strength of that equal to a Nekovalkyria, Walter basically stomped his way out of the oozing stone, and jetted the hell out.

The femtomachines clustered under his feet, and began turning the air under him into Cesium; the material constantly exploded from under Walter, accelerating him further. Further, further, until the sky was about upon him...

It felt kinda wrong to be pulling back, but this was a man raised under propaganda basically telling him he was cannon fodder.

Walter Hyde punched through the sky with every grenade he had left, and all the while he still didn't know what will happen to him afterwards.

Soranomizu Interior

The Minkan opened his orange eyes, and looked about. Same weird planetary interior, same ship looking down at this Aether sphere thing, same lack of gravity, though it felt breezier than last time.

Walter was basically taking to having his entire armor being stripped off, leaving him with absolutely nothing on. It can't get any worse than this, right? He does have a awesome orange comet tattoo that starts at the left pec and ends at the left shoulder blade, after all.

Interior of this weird planet thing's sphere of Aether

Arete's breathing started to quicken as she raced towards what only looked like the surface of a sun. Almsot certain death. But yet, the others had come fine - she would make it too. Right? A yell of fury and frustration tore through her mouth as the angel plunged into the burning sea-sky.

Soranomizu Interior

There was a flash, and for a moment her vision was black, but as things came to once more she felt a mixture of exposed and incredibly hot, as if heat had wrapped around her like a second skin. She was spinning, that much she could tell from the way her surroundings catapulted around her without mercy, and as she looked to herself, trying to get a grip of what happened and where she was, it became abundantly clear and a cloud of brief confusion. Her MINDY was gone, but she was.... Alright? It made sense, and yet it didn't, she believed it had something to do with the synthetic components of the MINDY they wore but with this revelation it was clear that she was very wrong.

One worry was gone, but that meant little as she tried to figure out where everything was. She was not a Nekovalkyrja, so telepathy was out of the question. Her eyes looked down at the gray and silver silicon that she called her flesh, no means of locomotion in space, no means of properly communicating, and once more she felt herself requiring the help of other people who were much better adjusted to situations such as this. She shifted and contorted her body, trying to stop her spin as she desperately looked around, trying to make sense of where she was in comparison to everything else.

Had the others been rescued who had to jettison themselves from their MINDY's as well? Or did they too float aimlessly? Moreso than these thoughts, one rang in Care's mind: What had gone wrong?

The oil-blushed bot replied
"Affirmative." In a fluid motion she turned her head back toward her station, and the very instant her head stopped the Turbo Aether Turrets spun toward the ships and started firing with incredible accuracy again. The Quad Anti-Mecha Cannons were ready to lock on to anything that dared crawl out of the star craft- assuming, of course, that the space ships weren't destroyed before they even had a chance to climb out.

Those like Sacre that had shot through the aether sphere before exiting were still clad in their Mindy 4 while those that bruce force pushed their way through like Arete and Walter ended up nude, but alive and well. Everyone was being pulled in by the graviton beam soon enough.

Lauren Strong called in to the YSS Kaiyō II, "Everyone is out of the aether sphere by my count!!"

The ships that were not picked apart by Chlorate were few and far between. Two managed to throw a few plasma shots out towards the wandering crew of the Kaiyō as they were pulled towards the ship.

"Duck!" Lauren called as she began to fly between the shots and her crew.
