Jesus is walking through Heaven one day when he paused at the Pearly Gates to have a bit of a chat with St Peter. They talk for a bit, and then Peter mentions that he needs to go to the toilet, so Jesus offers to man the gates for a bit. Whilst Jesus is there an old guy walks up.

"Name?" Jesus asks him.

"Joseph" the man replies.

"Occupation?" Jesus asks, following the handy guide St Peter left.

"Carpenter" Joseph says. Now at this point Jesus starts to think the man looks familiar.

"Did you used to have a son?" he asked Joseph.

"Yes. Lovely boy he was." Joseph responded.

"Did he have any distinguishing marks or scars last time you saw him?"

"Yes, he had a hole through the palm of each hand."

"Dad", Jesus said and embraced the man.

"Pinocchio!"
