Hey there folks,

Long story short, I'm a long-time RP'er (5+ years), and I've fallen into the lap of .org, hoping to start/contribute to some great creative work!

I would suspect that only the smallest handful of people would know who I am either by way of my brief OOC stint here a couple of years ago or my infrequent presence on .com

I am a fantasy/sci-fi junkie too.

So, hello everybody. :)

I only remember one Matt from over the years. If you're that Matt then you vanished off the face of the earth and should have come back sooner. If you're not Matttheinsane, then welcome.

As you can see there're a few things going on, and if you have an idea the odds are someone will want to start something new.

Any notoriety I may have attained over the years (and I doubt there's much, if any), rests deep in the bowels of long forgotten chat sessions on Yahoo, and in a handful of threads on .Com

.Org is new to me, and I'm looking forward to exploring it.

I will mention this now too: I am extremely pleased to see a forum simply labeled "General Free-Form." I have every intention of starting, or finding, a thread that is allows for characters from different genres to unite together. That's how I've always felt RP should be, and this is, believe it or not, the only place I've found so far that seems content to let that happen.

Greetings and welcome to Org Matt! I'm a strong fan of the medieval fantasy/sci-fi genre, so if you need someone in a roleplay of that sort I'd be more than happy to participate. I'm also alright with Modern roleplay.

I may very well have struck RP gold here then, if this truly is this case... people who aren't absurdly strict about genre-separation? ... A dream come true, to be sure. :)

Anyway, I've begun my long-anticipated RP thread idea, "Chaos Theory." (and by long-anticipated I mean I've been anticipating getting it going for a long time!)

I've also been takin' a peek around town to see what other RP's are goin' on, so perhaps a few of you will get some PM's from me as I seek permission to join, heheh. :)
 
Sorry I'm late in welcoming you to the boards Matt, but welcome to .org. I would of been here sooner but a couple nights pulling graveyard shift at work, followed by a closing shift five hours later took some time.

I say you have found a good place then by reading what you are looking for. We are definately not strict in the rp sense. We may have our quirks, but hey, we're nuts anyways. Glad that you can join us and hope you feel as though you are part of the family that we here at .org have become over the years. We're just now hunting down the rest of the family that seemed to vanish within the past few months.

Hope you enjoy your stay.

You like the car eh? It's a 2004 GTO, Knight Rider style, complete with the AI and everything. He'll be making an appearance in Chaos Theory as well. :)
 
I've made my final addition to the Chaos Theory intro... if there was any doubt before, anyone is now welcome to join in on the pandemonium!
