Dammit...

Ahlias

"No...we didn't come all this way just to be confounded by a Khyber-damned door!" His gaze turned to Alo. "I shall admit, that I am no great wit nor thinker...but you? You are a Wizard! A learned man of who's value in Eberron can not be met by all the Galifars in the Five Nations! Surely their must be something more you can do?" He thought about what words could motivate him and queried, "Your friend believed in you to the point that he was willing to lay down his life that you may be here and continue your learning. Would you let his sacrifice be in vain?"

Gorfan

Gorfan studied the door...deep in thought. He wasn't terribly proficient with locks he knew, but there was something at the back of his memory that suddenly niggled at the cleric.

Soryn finds that simply walking to the eastern wall is a bit more difficult due to a collapsed bit of wall from the cavern. He has to climb over several large boulders, avoiding a few that are so tall, they almost reach the roof of the building, and finally coming out on the other side of the rubble.

The eastern wall is equally featureless, save for a few scratch marks where the rocks falling from the cave-in scratched the stone wall. One of the larger boulders is leaning against the wall, but didn't break through. Clearly, the walls are sturdy and thick, and breaking through them would be a complicated and backbreaking task in manual labor.

You, being a dwarf, know almost instantly from your study that the door is made with a layer of adamantine on the outside... one of the strongest metals out there. You surmise that the door is several inches thick, and probably not breakable by your current equipment. You estimate the stone wall to be roughly a food thick. The stone wall could be broken through eventually, but it would be difficult and backbreaking labor.

Soryn

The rogue in essence was not looking for some fault or opening within the sides of this wall. He had determined its thick nature after a bit of examination. Nevertheless, he searched the southern wall just the same just to complete his perimeter search, hoping that upon failure, he would return to some solution.

Search on South Side 1d20+5 = 8

The southern wall appears much like the eastern wall. Again, there is some sort of collapse in the cavern walls, but nothing near as grand as the eastern side.

The walls remain smooth and featureless. There is no crack, groove, or crease indicating a secret door or other optional point of entry.

Soryn

Returning to the group, without much of a word at first, he waits to listen in on anything they might have uncovered. The rogue's head looked up, attempting to size up the height of the building they were trying to enter out of mere curiousity, but remained somewhat dependent on the input of the others for now.

Ahlias sighed audibly, and he knew the mage couldn't figure anything else out from the adamantine and stone edifice before them. He did not know the spell reptuare of the mage, but he figures if any obvious spell existed for gaining entry, Alo would have used it already.

His hands on his side, Ahlias walked casually around the perimeter, looking for any secondary access method into the Foundry.

Takes 20 on a Search Check: 20.

{OOC: The last 3 spoilers for Soryn are now open to you. The jist being you don't find any other doors, or windows, and no hidden doors. You find nothing valuable or interesting, unless you are interested in some rocks and boulders from a partial cave in.}

Ahlias, disgruntled, moves towards Soryn again and follows his gaze to the roof. It wasn't that high. The Warrior looked over and grimaced. "Think we can get up there?"

Soryn

Seemingly out of options, he turned to Ahlias and simply shrugged. "I'm sure you can get up there with a bit of effort." The rogue was unsure what the mage or the cleric had found about the doors, but through practical research, he figured the last place to check lied on top of the 20ft obstacle before them. "It is a good a place as any to check at this point"

Ahlias shrugged. It seemed like a good idea as any. Well, damn, and it landed on him! first in, first glory, the Warrior thought and stepped towards the wall.

A quick exploratory search revealed the rocks Soryn had seen piled gainst the Wall, and Ahliasset himself to climb. First, he would aquire any rope the party had, and then make sure his weapons were hitched securely to his person.

Then he would climb.

Climb check: 22 Climb check. (1d20+4=22)

Hand over hand, gaining footing, and moving steadily. Ahlias was a reasonably good climber, and this wasn't all that difficult!
