Alo

Alo excused himself from the tavern room, then went to do some shopping of his own. He'd been ignored when he suggested healing potions, and he couldn't afford any on his own, so he simply didn't bother with them.

He purchased a scroll of Magic Missile (25gp), a scroll of Ray of Frost (12.5gp) and the materials to scribe a Magic Missile scroll (12.5gp). He then found himself a quiet place to work in the tavern, and scribed the magic missile scroll (1XP). Then he went to meet with the others.

(50+15=65)
(12.5+12.5+25=50)
(65-50=15GP added to CSheet)

Read MM Scroll (1d20+7=26)
Read RoF scroll (1d20+7=16)

((Aparrently Alo can't read a scroll of a cantrip he has in his spellbook. Hooray for the retarded changeling))

((Ready))

Amnile

HP 7/9
AC 13

Amnile pays 5sp for a days worth of common meals. (Or as sj put it a large meal that will keep him fed for the day.) He devours the meal swiftly half due to hunger/half due to not wanting to be left behind. He then hurries behind Goron not wanting to be left alone in the city. Amnile buys Two cure light wound scrolls at 25gp each. He hands one to gorfan and says,"I would very much appreciate it if you used this on me now to get me back to peak form." He then hands him the second scroll,"And I think you should keep THAT scroll incase the sewers gives us trouble."

Money left 1 gold 8 silver.

(ps. SJ says you should use your level 0 spells to bring me to 9 hp and keep the two scrolls. Since Gorfon is the cleric he would know more about healing and do that i guess. Amnile will go along with it either way.)

Gorfan
HP: 10/10
AC:14 (VT:10, FF:14)

"Many thanks to you Master Amnile for this generous gift," Gorfan said to the monk nodding gratefully as he receives the Cure Light Wounds scrolls from him," but I shall save this scrolls for greater needs that will no doubt come across us during our journey into the sewers"

Gathering some of his spell energy for Cure Minor Wounds, the dwarven cleric says,"Now then my friend, let me just get you back to full strength with some healing spells I have in hand...as we cannot have you proceeding underground with depleted strength now can we?"

Gorfan proceeds to cure Amnile's remaining two health points, thus returning him to full health.

((This being done, Gorfan is ready now))

Amnile

HP 9/9
AC 13

"Thank you Master Gorfan," Amnile said with a polite bow. Finally he was fully healed and ready to put foot to arse.

(With that done Amnile is ready to go.)

Kyru
HP:7/7
AC:16 (FF:12, T:14)

It could be said that Kyru overslept...as usual. But he'd offer a thorough tongue-lashing to any knave foolish enough to suggested that elves slept. As the hour of mid-morning (around 10AM) strikes, he bounds from his bed, hastily dawns his gear, and charges out to join with his party.

He slows his pace just before approaching visual distances, adjusts his appearence with a few quick swipes to his hair, and attempts to brush the wrinkles out of his clothing. He strolls up to the party looking no worse (but no better) than usual. "My apologies, friends...I'm ready."

(OOC: All for go, DM.)

(Fine I'll go first.)

Amnile says,"Well then Ahlias, You got the map. I assume we follow your lead?" The monk looked the fighter up and down expecting a response.

Ahlias did indeed have the map. He only remembered after the Monk, Amnile, prodded him for it.

"So I do!", Ahlias blinked and took it out. after examining the parchment for a moment, he allowed his eyes to rise. He was standing outside, looking out over a railing on the ancient Mason's Tower.

"Friends, we must head to Dorasharn Tower, and from there, down, and down...", he grimaced and scnaned the city with his eyes, finally finding the immense Dorasharn tower rising up between two smaller edifaces and partially stricken from view by the clutches of the fog that sometimes gathered among the false peaks of Sharn.

"Quickest way would be to take the big stair down, we've got to go down anyway, or possibly grab an Air Taxi...but I doubt we've got the funds for five people. I could ask anyway."

On that Ahlias sets about signalling for an air taxi.

(If they have a special name, I've forgotten it.)

As soon as he gets ones attention, he reverts his eyes to the map. It's a rather interesting thing, especially for Ahlias whose has a knack for maps.

The map shows you how to get to the Sewer Levels of Dorasharn's Tower. Ahlias' skill with maps lets him easily pick out a quick and direct path to the sewer levels. However, it shows that the levels below the Sewer Levels are all blocked off.

Written in a delicate handwriting is the phrase 'Find the E-213 Valve Cluster' pointing to the last level of sewers.
At the very bottom of the page is written 'The foundry is 57 Levels below Sewers'

On a note, Ahlias decides the walk could do them good. What he was really thinking about was the Warforged and more like her. If they took a Sky Coach, it would be rather easy for their enemies to find out their destination. A quick bribe goes a long way in Sharn.

He abdrupty turns to his companions.

"Actually, let us walk. It isn't to far." Quietly, and with a slightly suspicious eyes, Ahlias walks quickly toward the stairs and to sharns lower levels.

Alo

Okay then. We shall walk." He agreed. Then he held out a scroll to Kyru "There you go my friend."

Sharn, Dorasharn Tower Sewers, Rat's Market

The walk to Dorasharn Tower is quick and uneventful. The same can be said for the descent to the sewer levels. The tunnels and corridors at this level of the tower are narrow and dark. An occasional window slit looks out upon the crowded walls and foundations of other towers, and infrequently placed torches sputter here and there, giving off pallid pools of light and clouds of smoke. Even so, rough and dirty people crowd the narrow corridors, and the smell of sweat and sewage permeates the stale air.

One tunnel opens into a large chamber where a mix of goblins, humans, and shifters gather around a small pile of garbage spread across three rotting blankets. One of the goblins shouts, "No pushing! No pushing! There's always enough for everyone at the Rat's Market!"

{OOC: Everyone please give me a spot and listen, with your next post.}

Ahlias wasn't exactly uneasy, but he was trying to be perceptive of everything around him. This wasn't the best place in Sharn, and the looks he and the others were getting from the slum-folk was comparable to a fat man eyeing up a roasted turkey.

They entered the place accurately dubbed 'Rat's Market', and Ahlias gave the place a quick scan.

Amnile

HP 9/9
AC 13

Amnile looked around at the Rats market carefully as he walked behind Ahlias. He then grips his staff alittle tighter. Maybe he was paranoid? But his psycho sense was tingling and the monk was on guard.

Down Below...

Ahlias wasn't as perceptive as the Monk or probably the Rogue, but he did have an eye or danger. None of these folks looked very innocent, but he also understood the necessary attitude of violence and paranoia when living in places like this.

He saw no-one overtly hostile, but he gave the room a quick scan. Ahlias would find the source of that voice, or if that was impossible, find the most influencial figure here. He needed information about how to break through to the lower levels.

Ahlias frowned and swatted at a small goblin that reached for his meager changepurse, and the thing scuttered away. He pointedly went for the Goblin who was shouting.

"Excuse me, sir. Might you help us? We need...directions."

Ahlias didn't turn his nose up at the smell of the creature, but he found it hard to smile.

Rat's Market

The goblin looks at Ahlias and says "I've got a rare stick of sealing wax here. Only partially used. For you, just 60 crowns."
