Castle Ayenee

Eden was in what she assumed was the lowest level library, on her knees and in the dark. She was kneeling at the bottom row of books, many of which were chained to the shelf they were on, able only to be read and not pulled from their moorings. Her digital mind and infrared vision scanned the words and images on the books' pages while she flicked through them, spending no more than five or six seconds on each.

She had been to many rooms and halls, places of banquet as well as solitude and discussion. She had avoided closed doors precariously and had only gone those places that were open to all. There was a deep reverence in the particular movements she made throughout the castle, even in the library as she knelt.

The dark-haired Nekovalkyrja moved up from the library and found that she was soon passing by the throne room from a level above. Her golden eyes trailed down to the throne itself and went from the observation pews above, down a staircase, and then was in front of the throne itself. She bowed deeply with her hands at her sides once she was a comfortable distance from it.

The king did come and go, occasionally. He was not always there. In fact, he was not always anywhere on Ayenee. He did at times actually leave and go to uncharted territory. He would leave, but then he would return. So, in the end it did not truly affect his role as the king, or did it?

Within some time, the Teien Nekovalkyrja went from the castle and left Ayenee, too. She did so once to fight for it in a Blue Sky Universe and once to leave Ayenee for her home in the Kikyō Sector. Some of the wisdom of Ayenee was in her digital mind, unquestionably. But, was some of the passion which Ayenee possessed so much of imbued in her hemosynthetic veins, as well?

Varsinax quickly drew his own weapon, a large claymore which he whipped through the air with lightning speed. He aimed to cut down the man before him with a flash of darkness from his blade.

Justin would block the sudden attack from the villain. However, his shield was broken beneath the power of the evil sword.

He quickly countered with a stabbing thrust of his own sword, striking at the center of his opponent's chest.

All of his faith and trust were place into this one great move and carried forward by the brilliance of his blade.

Varsinax did have his effort thwarted. He was struck hard in his body by the magical sword. At that moment he realized, as his eyes grew full of darkness, that the weapon used against him was in fact the Blade of Ayenee itself.

His body fell and faded away into dust and then nothing.

Varsinax was finally defeated and completely gone from this place.

Triumphant he watched as the villain the people of this land had suffered under for so long had been slain.

He dropped the broken shield and walked to the throne and sat there to rest.

One of the most stressful periods in time for all of the realm of Ayenee had now finally been brought to an end by hand of someone with a good heart.
