Castle Ayenee

Picking her way up to the Castle Ayenee's entrance, Teien Eden spoke to herself in a near-whisper and from a place that she rarely felt within her.

Her voice, though low, was stoic, "Ayenee is recovering."

With a steady voice as she slowed her movements and came to a standstill, Eden said, "I have come to meet with those of the Darkfire Clan."

Ziyi looked at Teien Eden.

Then Ziyi would turn around and walk into the castle. Ziyi would walk through the castle, all the way to the throne room. There she would return to the side of Varsinax.

As long as Teien Eden followed Ziyi, then she too would be in the presence of the King of Ayenee.

A faint but vivid chill crept down Eden's spine interface as she approached the iron throne of Varsinax. Her next movement was a bow of her own Yamataian customs, stiff and rigid with her hands at her sides. She lifted from it to let her golden eyes wander to the King, Varsinax.

She spoke evenly, saying, "I am a Shosa of the Star Army of Yamatai, a leader of many people. Those ranks and titles are ones I hold in the shadow of yours, Your Highness. Nevertheless, I tell them to you so that going forward you," Eden's eyes moved to Ziyi's and continued, "may better get to know me." Her eyes had trailed back up to the King's. "If that is your desire."

"To ask to learn from you," she replied while standing straight, black hair falling behind her.

"My assistant Ziyi can be grim at times, however, she is correct in her assessment. Ayenee is indeed a very desolate place. Then again, perhaps I am only speaking from a certain point of view. And from that view, the world I see here is dark, desolate, and depressing."

"I wonder if you want your point of view to change, Your Highness" Eden said. "Do you want your world to be anything but how you see it now?"

Eden's eyes intently stayed on Varsinax while she listened. She blinked afterwards and her eyes softened before she spoke, "If that is what you think, then I now know some of what I have come to learn. Thank you, Your Highness."

"If I may," Eden said and she bowed her raven-black haired head and seemed to be searching for her words. When she looked back up, her yellowy amber eyes were glistening while her brows were forced down towards the center, resolute. "If I may, I thank you for your hospitality, Your Highness. I will keep your wishes for and views of Ayenee at the forefront of my mind. Arigatou gozaimasu, Your Highness, thank you." She stood quite a bit straighter, of the mind that her visit with the King need not be drawn out and prepared to leave his and Ziyi's chambers.

So, she bowed in her Yamataian custom, low and deep, then turned on her heels only marginally, which were close together, and bowed in a similar fashion to Ziyi. "I thank you for your time, as well as your kindness. Arigatou gozaimasu." When she had lifted there was a receptive smile was on the Shosa's face. "Thank you."
