This is my favorite forum and always has been. I just got some band info. Roger straightened it all out for me. Apparently I'm considered a legacy by this point. Ayenee, you are the greatest rp forum I've ever visited.

I don't know if you just got lost, or what, but it's pretty senseless to "call out" Ayenee.com/Valucre members on this site. I may not be on the staff here but I respect the current admins enough that I don't wish your crap on them. Try to avoid getting banned here, too.

It's been nearly, and I'm not kidding you. 8 years. What in the hell are you still doing running around the RP world like a bull with it's testies tied up with a bit of rope? I imagine you're in your 30s or close, you should find some real life occupation to your free time, sir.

And yes, Ive also won in a 3-way with you using 'Lahuun'. A 'computer hacker' character, and 'Astral Josh'. I don't expect you to own up to it[or remember it for that matter, I know you have gone through too many t1 scuffles to recall one from almost a decade ago], and it just depresses me further to know you still act this obsessively when at one point when I was very young, we were friends. I hope you figure your life out and find some happiness in 'this' realm that you endear so much.

Three years too late for a reply, but this forum is dead anyway so why not humor the horse?

Reading this Summoner guy's post kind of remind me of the old guys who reminisce about their high school football days. They always claimed to be better than they were, and regardless of how much time passes between then and now, they'll always revert back to the old "yeah well, back then I was awesome!"

I played in Y! Chat since the late 90's. I was very active on .Com; never once met this Summoner guy.

Honestly until I started running NewAyenee.org I'd never encountered him either WaaDor, but I just hung around the Arts & Entertainment section of Yahoo and I know you did too, so maybe thats why he didn't visit the A&E section frequently...
 
I know this Josh you speak of. He tried to take over the clan/group/family I was in... Viperia. Even now he runs around claiming that he owns it, or that he is some GOD of it.

Josh entered the omni-bullshit-powers scene after the loss of user rooms and well after most of us stopped RPing on Yahoo. It was around 2006 or so, and we only used YIM for keeping in touch and had all mostly gone to our separate forums for RP. What remained in chat was mostly an abstraction, and with so much to prove and no one willing to take him seriously he sought out "older" (second-generation) T1-PC fighters like Terrata, Fenix, Corban, myself - literally anyone from Ayenee, Eden, Tenaria, or any forum-specific community - if there was a group of people who respected someone, he had to fight that person.

It never occurred to him to build a reputation, or to wonder why people had respect in the first place. In a way, he's less like the old high school superstar and more like the guy trying to go through high school again and be the superstar, this time. He's been that guy since 2006.
 
I already asked in another thread, but does he have autism or some other kind of mental disorder? I'm not trying to poke fun at the guy, but if he's not "all there" than I can understand him going on like he does and I wont look down on him/be judgmental. But as of right now though...yeesh, he needs to calm his teets and snap back to reality. I stopped playing around '03-'04 which would explain why I've never heard of him. If I weren't thirteen years out of the loop I'd give 'em a go for the shits-'n'-gigs!

I'll admit, I'm genuinely curious now as to who he is and why he goes on like he does.
 
As far as I'm aware, the closest to an excuse for his behavior was told to me in confidence. I got that from him directly, but had no way of knowing if he was making it up or not. I am, unfortunately, very familiar with how such things can cause you to wax nostalgic (or simply act retarded), so it made sense at the time, but I also had to wonder if he just thought it would be a cool part of his persona.

Unfortunately, that's just how he portrayed himself. Even if he tried to make a clean start, it'd be hard for anyone to take him seriously, anymore.
 
Nah we can all take him seriously, we are roleplayers after all...It'll just make the roleplay so much more meta we roleplay taking him seriously then roleplay a character dealing with him.
