A Day AT The Park

( Posting for Evil Angel because she is grounded for a week and I don't want this rp held up because of her needed posts)

Spider carefully untangled the duck from her jacket into the waiting womans hands, muttering about how the woman need to chill out with the "Boss" tone. Spider then heard the birds above her and glanced upward.

"Holy hell n fly'n feathers!!"

The girl cried out, then used the jacket to cover her head as she turned and ran for the park's ranger station. She figured if she could make it to the safty of the building the birds wouldn't enter after her.

It seemed like WWIII, feathers were flying and a man was going all kung-fu and shit. But all Charm cared about was getting the injured duck, herself, and the cat in her bag, some where safe.
Taking the duck she then turned and hauled ass out of there in hopes to avoid the dive bombing fowl. Honestly, for a day that started out dull and boring, it suddenly became the day from hell.
"Hold on kitty, this is definitely going to be a bumpy ride."

Charm cradled the injured duck in her arms and kept it close to her as if protecting it from his feathered friends.
I wish you would call off your buddies." she said to the duck as if it would understand her.

Still running Charm noticed directly ahead of her a picnic table. Thinking that would help keep the pecking fowl off of her she slipped down under it. There she sat holding the duck awaiting the assault to stop.

The cat had thought the first ride in the bag had been tough, but it was nothing compared to this second ride as the woman ran for the table. The large feline was poked and prodded by ever item in the bag; tell it could remain silent no more. The cat was in pain and it knew the one who was to blame for this outrage, the Duck! It started meowing and thrashing against the bags items, cursing the duck out in feline tongue and she knew the Duck could hear her just fine through the bags material. As the woman settled under the table the cat hissed through the bag to the duck.

“Call of the bombers or I swear I’m gonna have duck legs for dinner one night…Real Soon!”

As the woman carried away the injured duck and the cat inside her bag, the other game in the park were dive bombing Brandon and the other girl, Spider, as well as the woman with the duck and the cat. The flapping of feathers and the crying out of others nearby was rampant as the ducks and swans flapped wildly around the young man's head as he fled the scene. Spider seemed to be heading towards the ranger station not too far off...Brandon decided that it would be best if he made for the place as well, providing he wasn't pecked to pieces by the dive bombing game. As he was fleeing in his intended direction, Brandon could distinctly catch the sound of a duck's pitiful quacking and a cat's angry yowling.

" Seems like the cat and the injured duck don't like the cramped confines of that woman's bag..." Brandon muttered as he ran along towards the park's ranger station.

Walter felt the jostling he was still here, it seemed he was still alive but with his wing as it was and his loss of blood and flight what time he had left was fleeting at best. He could hear his allies as they continued the attack he knew full well they would continue the attack until someone had proven themselves greater than he himself. Settling into his fate he heard the cat and quacked quietly " Well then you should hurry before the maggots beat you to me. " He said in his common tongue it would have been understandable to the cat. With those words leaving his Bill Walter the Angry Mallard was dead.

However the attack continued.

The Swans could feel the punches of the flying super monkey Combo it was certainly a feat they would not expect of a man so young, but it was clear now his kung fu was strong. The swans started to pull back as the Ducks continued to watch on looking for any weakness in the mans super attack.
As others ran toward the Ranger station the call to return was issued, the Geese, ducks and the rest of the swans may be needed in handling the man with strong kung fu.

The cat hissed.
"Damn You to a Boiling Pot Hell Duck!!"
Though deep inside the feline knew some small part of her would miss the head strong, paper addicted fowl.

Hiro falls to one knee exhausted. They just kept coming. Why did they keep coming? Did his skin have the same soft texture as bread and they think him food? No, that can't be it. He looks around and he is alone. OH MY GAWD THESE DUCKS KILLED EVERYONE ELSE AND THEY ARE GOING TO KILL HIM TO! (Everyone else is out of his field of vision and he is over reacting.) He rises to his feet and cries, “I don't want to die!" and runs flapping his arms and shrieking like a sissy coward towards the nearest park exit. Will he make it?

As Charm sat under the picnic table cradling the duck in her arm she heard the angry cat in her bag hissing. With her free hand she opened the bag so that the feline could peek out if she wished, but her concern was mainly the dying duck.
Charm gazed down upon the poor dying duck, her eyes filled with tears and began to run down her cheeks.
"you poor thing" she stroked the ducks head as he took his last breath.
"Forgive me for not getting you help in time." Charm cried as the ducks body went limp within her arms.

A white van with an orange flashing light on the top comes driving through. It has the municipal seal of the city on its side and it drives slowly through the park along the service lanes until it comes to a stop a few hundred feet away from Charm.

A man in a jumpsuit gets out of the van, while putting on some work gloves. He walks to the back of the van and gets out a long pole with a loop on the end, and what looks like a carrying cage for a pet.

He starts trundling across the grass towards Charm. "Excuse me Miss. I'm from Animal Control. We've gotten reports of a mallard in the area who's been terrorizing people. Would you please step away from the duck."

As if some magical force within the statue was awoken by the death of that mischeivious duck, the statue suddenly began to shift and turn as if trying to free it's self.

Animal control… Animal Control! Inside the cat’s mind those words echoed at top volume. The duck might be dead, but even dead he was causing trouble, thought the feline as she curled into an even tighter ball with in the woman’s backpack.

If anyone had peered into the bag at this time, all they would have seen was a pair of large emerald colored eyes, for the cat was attempting to become invisible to the human eye. This was a trick the cat had learned when it was small and though it use to do it all the time, as of late it had grown out of practice. So what was once an easy feat, now took a little more time to accomplish, but accomplishing it was nearly done.

The large umber feline had no problem being hauled home in the bag of the nice human female, but there was no way on gods green earth she was going to end up stuffed in the back of an animal control truck on her way to feline jail!!

Charm sat there under he picnic table holding the dead body of Walter the duck. Tears slowly dripped down upon the dead ducks head and rolled off. Clutching it's body closer to her she gazed up at some guy demanding she hand it over to him.
"I don't think so!"
There was no way she was going to hand the poor creature over to this guy.
Charm heard the cat in her bag shifting around, the poor thing was probably frightened to death sensing that this "Animal Control" guy was so near.
Moving her right hand down Charm gently patted the bag and reassured the cat that she was safe.

Suddenly, some where behind the Animal Control guy there was the sounds of tree branches snapping and the heavy thumb as if a boulder had fallen upon the ground

The guy sees that the duck is dead. "Was he a pet? I'm sorry. But birds carry diseases. You can't leave his body here in the park. Aside from diseases, he'll attract vermin. You'll need to take your pet home and bury him or I can dispose of him for you."

When the loud thump happens behind him, he turns to see what caused it. Are those damn kids hitting my truck? I'll kill the little bastards.

There behind the Animal Control guy stood a very large statue of a woman. Some how it was moved from it's original spot which was about a 1000 feet from where it now stood.
There was something very odd about this statue for it not only stood in different location, but also it's form seemed to of changed as well.
It's one arm no longer was raised upward, but now it appeared to be completely stretched fowards as if trying to grab an object in front of it.

WHAT THE FU........!?!
Charm, whom was still under the table, eyes widened as she saw this huge statues feet plant firmly behind the Animal Control guy.
"Uh..." she muttered.
Totally confused and some what afraid, Charm slowly pushed herself along the ground in the opposite direction from where the man and statue stood. Unsure as to what to do, or what was even going on.....Charm knew she needed to get the hell out of there. Inching along with the dead ducks body still cradled within her arm, and caring now for the cat in her bag, it was time to make a break for it.

Animal Control

The man sees the statue and turns nonchalantly back to Charmed. "S'ok. Just a giant statue coming to life.

...

OH MY GOD! THE STATUE IS ALIVE!"

He turns around and bolts towards his truck, hoping to reach it before the statue can destroy it.

Finally getting herself out from under the table, Charm wonders Why she is still hanging onto the dead duck body. Seeing that the statue is still standing there, she flings the dead duck at the statue and takes off running with the cat in the bag swearing she will never return to This park again.

Not caring about the man nor the female, the statue picks up the dead duck and returns to it's original spot in the park. The statue returns to its prior position along with the duck cradled in her one arm befor returning to it's natural state.

The cat finds herself once more being tossed around with in the bag, sharp items digging into fuzzy flesh.
Enough!
The cat thinks and closes her eyes tight, with in seconds the cat vanishes from the bag and now stands a few hundred feet ahead of the fleeing woman. The feline only hopes the woman will pause in her flight, and not run the cat over, to insure a better out come the feline releases a loud pitiful meowwwwww to gain her full attention.

A day in the park.just what she needs, or so she thought as she entered in. Right away her senses being enlightened with the sights and sounds, sunlight as it glistens through the leaves of the multicolored trees, the sounds of children playing off in the distance,it was wonderful and ever so magical at the same time. Here is an area in the city, but as you enter, things of the city shortly appears distant. After strolling a leaf scattered pathway underneath tree branches that seems to stretch out overhead forming a natural canopy she then comes upon a wooden bench positioned across from a huge stone fountain..there was a gentleman seated at the bench who seems busy with his laptop, but she walked on past to the huge stone oval fountain where she notices at the bottom an aray of many different coin pieces. Staring at the reminder of wishes, she reached to her own pocket and pulled out a coin, holding it briefly inside her palm, she summoned a wish, a wish which is nothing more but a dream one wants to come true, then with a quick toss, a plop in the water she stands and watched as her coin made its descent to the mosaic tiled bottom of the fountain the nestled between two other coins. At that moment Veta then turned and headed on to the other avalable bench near the fountain and sat down, listening to the sounds of music playing and cheers of others..and just as she was leaning back, glancing over to the gentleman across the way caused her to giggle as a duck flew past the man's head.
