Basic Assumptions about Ayenee

To be fair it's a lot of words.
Word up!
😂

Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.

Wrong hair colour and looks way too stressed. Right now considering actual IC history it’s like watching Monty pythons facts of life 😂😂😂😂

My understanding is pretty much in line with what was described in the original post.

In all the years I was on the forums I never once heard that any of the other realms were part of Ayenee. I originally came to Ayenee from Tenaria because I found Tenaria's fantasy-only ruleset to be downright constricting, and I don't remember anyone at the time regarding Ayenee as anything other than a separate community. If that changed, it changed well after I migrated.

I have about five kingdoms in Southern Ayenee that I had started in Ychat after Velusia was successful and began to annoy me with the people in for ooc reasons. Then Yahoo dropped the no user chat rooms three years later and I had to find some place to put them, which for a short time was the forums, then I moved them to my tabletop game.

Funny you mention Starthra being in the south, the Blackthornes had an alliance with them, met them on a few occasions in chat and forums. I haven't heard from or of Starthra since 2004 or 2005. Is there anyone still around from there?
Roleplayed there. Naturally. Much the same as Eden, Tenaria, Zoir, Dystopia, Ayenee, Rydin. Since 1997. It was also a belief amongst the majority of role players that each section of Yahoo Chat inc the user rooms were all components to form a whole. Most didn’t regard Ayenee as a planet just another component of a realm. A central region.

Most didn’t care to define it, we were all too busy writing it from our own prospective in respect to our own stories and those whom we chose to interact with.

Tech in 97/98/99 was utterly shunned in Ayenee in the majority of the user rooms because there were those out there that used it to simply make pests of themselves. And room kill and all that nonsense.

Clans definitely dominated certain parts and some clans still control those areas undefeated especially if members of those clans are still active in any roleplay community with the characters that took hold whether by conquering or it being handed over merely for nostalgia and/or continuation.

No one can force any demographics of Ayenee as a planet, realm, whatever because Ayenee merely being Arts & Entertainment in Yahoo Chat, and is Freeform. Its definition rests in the hands and mind of the writer. Was this way from the beginning and hopefully to its end.

I think it's more accurate to say that some of Ayenee's population was weird about tech-based RP, and the way that you worded that post specifically makes me think that you were part of that crowd. I say that because you're describing the time frame in which FEISAR was getting off the ground, and was a pretty well-respected by everyone they interacted with — including the people trying to kill us. That's also the time some friends and I were running around playing Maverick Hunters from the Mega Man X series and getting into more than our fair share of trouble.

The more accounts I read and the more I think back on my time as an admin of .org, the more I feel that a definitive history of Ayenee is completely impossible to assemble. The entire community was divided into cliques that refused to interact with one another, meaning that every account is going to flat-out contradict every other account.
