Roleplay.

Well Kazushi, RP does go on here. Right now things are in a lull due to the economy and RL needing attention by majority of our members.

On a moderation note, your comment about Varsinax is uncalled for. We already know how Varsinax is and had dealt with him before, but we still don't treat our members as such, nor do we allow such talk to happen on our boards. If you have problems with someone, it's best to leave it in private. Thank you.

Sorry, just ran him onto other boards and his ways and i have a jaded opinion, but i do apologize, it's good though i can start roleplaying on here then since yahoo has been over-run by one liners.

Yahoo has one-liners again ? Hmmmmmm After all this time I figured All it had become was porn bots sending annoying Pms to each other.

I kinda miss the one liners. At least you got somewhere unlike when you were waiting four paragraphs for someone to take their hat off.

I know what you mean from that Lowthor, those that think they have to give massive amounts of description for just one action. My bro Xanos once had a 21 paragraph transformation. An hour later I would check back to my comp and still see him posting it. :p I did slap him later for that. :p

One liners are good for quick descriptions and communications, and then in my preference para's are good for combat situations, just as long as it did not go overboard with large amounts of paragraphs. K.I.S.S. {Keep It Simple Stupid}

I always went with "As much as I need". My scientific background also meant I'm concise at the best of times.

I agree with you there. A paraghraph rp poster's posts should only need to contain as much information needed for the other person to visualize and know what is happening, and not thirty different ways or extremely detailed to describe one taking their hat off. I've actually seen someone do that before, they've posted six paragraphs describing them getting ready to sit down and take their hat off. They ended up describing the entire description of the hat, including the simple leather material, and the ink coloring the hat, and plus even the simple wood making of the table and chair in the tavern. Needless to say, the person that was wanting to rp with them at that table got bored and left the room after the last post when they took another two paragraphs describing them sitting down.

An rp paragraph should only contain as much information needed to give an idea of what's going on, and giving more detail when needed, like spells or unique manuevers, not giving colorful explainations form simple things such as walking.

~Raises a brow ~ Come on now guys this age old debate or rather stadard Rp conversations should be held by itself not mucking up Kazushi's thread.
