Zeth, "Ayenee" is simply the name of the "realm" that most of the players on this board came from. It's not really a style or any particular setting at all. Basically, we played in chat rooms back when Yahoo had them. We made user created rooms in the "Arts & Entertainment" section of the boards. To shorten it, it was A&E, which a few of the oldest players started calling "Ayenee" to make it more fantasy world friendly. The name stuck, and here we are over 15 years later, still playing under that name.
As far as RP goes, most of what we play is, by default, simply put in the world of Ayenee. Currently there is a large theme RP going on under The Awakening that you're more than welcome to join. There's also another one going on under World of Darkness, which is set in current day New Orleans. I believe Anti just started another one in Farthest Reaches, which is our typical modern & sci fi setting. There are a ton of other sections that you're welcome to begin an RP on if you want. I guarantee someone will join in. Also, if you want to join a certain style of RP but don't see an active thread going or the ones that are there seem like they've been going on too long for you to want to join, you're more than welcome to ask if someone would be willing to start one. Again, I guarantee somebody will.
