Three hours later, the wolf awoke with a start.
Something in it's brain had awoken it. Something....odd.

The wolf paced around the compartment for about twenty minutes before pressing a button to open the doorway.

The button responded with a metallic beeping noise.

"Access denied."

The wolf raised an ear in surprise. "Denied?" he thought. "What in the hey?"

Genecidal tried again and the stupid door did that same beep confirmation.

He was trapped in here.

The wolf grumbled and sat on it's haunches. The claws extended out of it's paws with a grunt of effort and the claws slid into the door-crevice.
The wolf let out a loud snarl as it slowly inch by inch forced the door to open against it's will. When it was open enough, the wolf slipped outside only to have the door close on it's tail.
The wolf yelped loudly and snarled angrily whirling around on the door and attacking it with it's claws.
Scratch marks three meter's thick went into the door.

Snarling and howling with rage the wolf focused a blast of power out of it's paws that sent the door dropping to the ground with a surge of energy.

Once the tail was free, the wolf padded off to it's quarters to rest a bit more comfortably.

In that three hours, Steve had regained his senses. He was sat back in the cockpit guiding the ship towards the colony's docking ring. It was a long cylinder with a docking ring halfway along. There was a mixture of vessels docked, from sleek looking craft bearing official insignia to ships that looked like they used to be cobbled together from parts of several others.

Landing control directed him in, and the ship came to a halt. "Thank **** for that" He said and brought the ship into stationary mode. Then he grabbed his kit bag and made for the airlock. He needed to get off this ship and disapear into the crowded lower levels of the colony. They were still after him, whoever they were, and that wolf had nearly killed him.

On the way to the airlock he encountered Jik'Tor, and the alien merchant agreed to go with him. They would find somewhere to stay, Steve would get ahold of some funds, and then they would meet the man who could help Steve.

By the time the wolf left the storage compartment, Steve was gone. He didn't particularly want to tell the wolf why he'd locked it in there, so getting away now would be a good idea. He could get in touch with the other alien later.

When Genecidal awoke, he walked over to his door and touched the pad with his nose.

The door responded. "Affirmation command lockdown in place."

The wolfs ears raised in surprise.

Then it whined and ran over to the port-window that it got to view out of.

The port window showed some kind of...space dock.

"What in the hey?" It murmured to itself.

"By the fists of arias, someones gone and locked me in here now too. GRR!"

Genecidal, the first time, was less then thrilled. But the second time, was just going too far.

Ol pointy ears gazed at the door and it's teeth and body felt heavier, stronger.

The wolf, was in all terms, Pissed off.

Howling at the top of it's lungs it charged straight from the back of the room to the door, it's body shape altering slightly as it slammed shoulder first into the door. The door buckled but didn't give.

The wolf howled again and it's posture of friendly companionship suddenly changed into raging flying pandomoneum of pure fear and hatred.
It remembered once when these Uspf men held it in such a place and filled the place with toxic gasses.

Both eyes grew cold as ice and it flew in swift motions of leaps and bounds attacking everything within range of it's claws, teeth and body.
Several crashes and the entire room shuddering uncontrollably before the door finally flew right off the space lock-hinges and landed on the floor with a thud.

Gc panted as it was finally free, both eyes returning to normal as it snuffed around the edges of the air lock.
That interesting alien thing had left.
And so had Steven.

The wolf growled low in it's throat then ran over and sniffed the computer-lockdown sequencer, discovering that the "Friendly" human not only betrayed his furry comrade, but left it there, locked in the ship without so much as a goodbye. Without even bothering to tell the wolf, they'd landed.
Now Gc was not in a good mood to say the least, and as it found out that by scent, Steven locked it in, and did so without providing any way for it to open the door. It began to growl again.

"So, human, I give you trust, a ship and a companion in friendship, and you betray me and end up locking me into a confined space without even so much as the generosity of leaving me a way to get out?"

Genecidal was not particularily happy with the human at this point.
Gc wanted answers, why Steve would be so cold as to leave it locked in with no way to get out.

The wolf ducked into one of the spare-uspf-Munitions and arms closets and came out with a interstellar swat-vest. One that was guaranteed to take a licking and keep on working.

Then the wolf gazed up at the other alien, bidding it a good fair.
Then gc went into hunting mode. It was clearly going to be very difficult, but not seemingly impossible to locate the "particular" human. Especially since the eyes and the body-size couldn't be altered.

But there was something else, the wolf had to help it in it's search. It's keenly enhanced genetical nose. It wasn't quite like regular wolves where it'd lose a scent if said scent went through water or the like. But it wouldn't be easy to track the human through that either.

"Okay Steven." It growled as it caught the scent of the "earlier" direction the human had made after the space-dock. "Time to go pay you a visit."

Gc was very mad indeed, but it would give Steven time to answer some questions. If the wolf felt that the human was being truthful, then the wolf would seperate and go on a different direction. But only "After" confronting the human who'd betrayed it.

The Flying Door shattered Za Ree Om's entire body which even the small pieces of his body began to reverberate readying to release all the psychic energy he had unwillingly been forced to harbor. It would happen once the wolf was out of ship and in the main docking area. The Wolfs Ship would explode. The Colony would recieve little damage all together, but now the ship that had brought them to this colony was gone, and so was the Dreeh-Ehu Trader.

Steve and Jik'tor were in the lower levels, an area that was the station not hermetically sealed and therefore devoid of aromas, would have been an olfactory rollercoaster. There were so many traders and restaurants that had it not been for the fact that the air was recylced and filtered so carefully, it would have been an adventure for the senses. They were in the store of a wine merchant, who was not really a wine merchant. The creature, who could easily have been mistaken for the Dreeh-Ehu Trader, was actually a dealer in data.

Steve was guiding him through a series of fake bank accounts and electronic back doors in order to retreive Steve's savings. His career in His Magesties Space Force had been short, but well payed, and he'd set aside a good deal of what he'd earned. It was whilst they were here that the ship exploded, and Steve could have swarn he had seen it. What he didn't know was that the release of psychic energy responsible for the explosion had carried the events into his mind. It was only later when he learned of the events that took place that he started to piece things together.

Genecidal had been in hunting mode and had stopped outside one of the lower quadrints where the air was harder to trace.

He reeled when he felt the sudden psyche image of the ship blowing up.

"Uh-oh. that's not a good thing."

The wolf gazed about this lower quadrient.

"Dammit, Steven's scent stops right here. I can't smell im anymore."

This time, the wolf was a little more upset.

Somehow, without knowing it, Steven was making this more difficult then was really necessary.

The wolf headed to one of those "Security" centers and slipped in un-noticed by the guards.
The wolf used a sub hypnotic suggestion that allowed those other guards inside, to view him as one of their own team.

The wolf searched through dozens of sat-intel photos, searching for Steven.
The place where Steve was didn't have a security or sat-intel inside.
But the wolf caught a glimpse of something just to the left inside the door-frame.
Freezing the picture for a moment, Genecidal gazed and zoomed in on the photo.
He magnified the picture by eighteen and his eyes narrowed. "it's that alien dude that was with us on the ship. I'm betting, he knows where Steven might be."

The wolf walked out of the security area, slipped past the same two outer guards when they weren't looking and then ran straight for the side-mark street he'd caught a glimpse of.
He thought to himself. "I didn't mean for that alien dude to die, But Steven's also at fault for locking me in there without telling me the alien dude was around the door area."

Genecidal ran as fast as his four paws would take him, dodging obstacles in his path.
He came to a halt at the side market and gazed at the store in question.
He sent out a slight mental pulse that would search out particular recoginizables. Jik'tor's was the first he sensed, this pulse however wasn't sending out psychic waves, it was merely using an intuiative visionary center in the brain to "feel" out the others.

Genecidal walked around the side of the shop, to see a side door there.
No back doors that he could sense and the wolf layed down by the side lot, waiting for either door to open.

He wanted to explain the accident to the human, but he also needed to know why his only humane contact would betray him.

((Okay Ullery. His name isn't Steven. I have never once reffered to him as Steven. He isn't called Steven. His name is Steve. If you were to look at his birth certificate it would say "Steve O'leary"))

Steve had been in the shop for quite awhile by the time the wolf reached it. The data dealer had gained access to Steve's savings using a back door Steve had insisted upon being installed when he created the account. They then transferred the credits onto credit chips, minus the trader's payment.

"You mentioned that you were being followed so this was to be done discretely. Well there's someone who's been waiting outside for some time. I couldn't tell you who they are, but they're definately out there"

Steve swore and pulled out one of his pulse pistols. Why couldn't he do anything without someone trying to kill him at the moment.

(rightie o lowther, steve it shall be!)

Genecidal sat there with a serious look on his face.
His tail was somewhere between "calm" and "moderately upset."
His body language suggested that he was being patient and waitful.
And Genecidal's ears were all the way up, which indicated paying close attention to this shop.
Not only was the poor wolf in trouble for the accidental death of an alien being. But he was also stranded now with no way to get off the spaceport, nor was he himself able to fly anywhere what with having no thumbs.
The wolfs mouth wasn't even pulled back in a snarl, it was motionless as if to suggest that it wasn't going to be on the aggressive-warpath mode that it sometimes could get onto.

Steve checked the safety on the pulse pistol, and then tucked it into the top of his flight-suit.

"Wait here. I'll see if I can get rid of them." He said to Jik'tor, and he put a lot of emphasis upon the words rid of. Then he moved to the door and pressed the button. It slid open, and from inside Steve checked that the coast was clear to either side, before he stepped out and started to move around the side of the building; being part of the station it was not truly a building, but that is the best description. He kept close to the wall, and once he was certain that there were no security forces nearby he drew out his pistol again.

Genecidal's ears swiveled towards the left a little bit.
The feeling of impending danger began to alert the wolf to some kind of distress that it wasn't quite sure of yet.

Something didn't feel right and the wolfs ears were as high as they could go.
The feeling of impending danger, caused the wolfs fur to slowly begin standing on end. Both eyes narrowed to slits, the wolf wasn't sure where the feeling was coming from, but it was certain there was a high probability of risk.

Steve turned the corner, and found himself looking down the barrel of his pulse pistol at the wolf. He swore rather loudly at this point.

"For f***s sake. I thought it was someone that was actually trying to kill me. Not a demented furball that keeps almost doing it accidentally."

Both ears suddenly twisted in the direction of the sound followed seconds later by the eyes.

Genecidal bounded over to Steve and gazed up at the man and the weapon.
Gc gave a soft whine and layed down in front of the man.

Apparently the wolf wished to talk to the human, to tell him what accident occured and how the wolf wasn't aware that the alien had frozen outside his doorway.
And how the door had been locked and all kinds of other stuff.

But the wolf held his mind-link back knowing what would happen should he try it.

So genecidal gave another soft whine and made a mark in the ground with his claw, indicating "ship"
well actually it looked like a rocket, but he was hoping the human would catch on.

Genecidal waited and stared up at Steve with both ears folded back still staring at the threatining pistol. It gave another soft whine and layed it's head on it's paws to indicate no threat-posture to the human.

"Just stay the **** away from me you demented furball." Shouted and tucked his weapon back into his jumpsuit, before he turned and walked back into the shop.

"Just that bloody wolf." He said to Jik'tor, and then turned to the 'merchant' "We'd better get going. Thanks for the help. If I need this kind of work done again I'll come to you, and remember, we weren't here." Then Steve and Jik'tor left the place of business and went about their business. Their route took them into view of where the wolf had been, but it had slunk away by now.

((Well Mith. Once you work out how you want to get your guy back, we can get on with this))

Slowly a man started to rise up, from the debris from the shuttle, he was covered with sharp spikes of the former Dreeh Ehu trader Za Ree Om. His Body save for the spikes that were shoved through his skin was also covered with burns and numerous bone fractures. The mans mind had already succumbed to death, but Za Ree Oms mind had been able to take over the poor workers body.

With a slow staggered walk he moved amongst the debris from the shuttle gathering the shards of his former body . He moved as quickly as his body would permit as another workers body joined in the gathering of the shards. Thankfully it seemed the majority of the workers had been hit with the shrapnel from Za Ree Oms Body exploding which allowed him to control those who were all but dead. As the shards were gathered one of the less mangled workers bodies moved out of the docking area and into the main corridor leading away from where the ship had been parked.

Nearly twenty minutes later the Za Ree Om zombie walked into Steve glancing at him before nodding his head slowly. Sadly the body was with out vocal cords any longer the crystallized shards that had hit this main did most of the damage through the mans throat.

Steve and Jik'tor were on their way to the upper levels in order to find rooms they could use as a base of operations on the station. They were already rid of the wolf, but this did not ease Steve's paranoia. There was still a pulse pistol tucked inside of his flightsuit now, he'd decided that it was better to risk being caught by security with a weapon, than by his foes without one.

When the man bumped into him he was forced to take a step back and assess the situation. Even the least injured person from the docking section was a gory mess. It looked like he was in the middle of the latest remake of Dawn of the Dead.

"Hello? You alright. I've seen healthier people after a plasma bomb went off."

The Zombie gargled a little before lifting a hand to his throat and displaying the massive hole where his vocal cords and Adams apple would have been. After rubbing his fingers in the open wound a moment he drew his name upon the wall panel closest to him before pointing to himself and walking a few feet towards the docking ring.

"Ah. Now I vageully understand. I heard a ship exploded on the docking ring. I didn't realise it was the one we came on. Is there anything we can do? You can't want to stay like this surely."

Steve wasn't entirely sure what to make of this. He knew there were non humanoids out there that had such psychic talents that they were more than their bodies, but seeing it was very strange.

The Human Puppet shrugged a little and then looked a bit put off sticking its fingers back into the gapping throat wound and wrote upon the wall " Two Trade ship e z " The arm seemed to be growing harder to use and the body moved towards the docking ring with long forced steps. It should have been clear the body was starting to suffer the preliminary problems of Rigamortus.

Hobbling along Za Ree Oms corpse army seemed to be fading as a whole but almost all the crystalline fragments had been collected save for the ones in the bodies of those former dock workers. It would require a lot of time to get all of them and that was the one thing Za Ree Om was running out of with the bodies failing as quickly as they were.

Steve followed the army of reanimated bodies. This was disgusting. His head was starting to throb again, but he just gritted his teeth and kept going.

Two Trade Ship E Z That made no sense at all, but he thought it might be revealed later.

The Zombie body was growing harder to manipulate and Za Ree Om had gathered almost all of the fragements save for two bodies wirth which was the last Zombie in the hanger and the one leading his friends if one could call them that back to the docking ring. With Stumbling steps and ridged movements the zombie started ripping out the larger fragments and holding them out to Steve and Jik'tor hoping they would carry them so he could continue to get the last of the fragements. It would be a while before they would return to thier natural state and allow him to reform. Thankfully with only two bodies still moving and the rest having been cleared of the fragments the pile of his collected crystalized body was all but complete.
