Steve accepted the fragments with a puzzled look on his face, and it took a moment for him to realise that he was holding part of his short lived travelling companion.

"This is disgusting." He said to Jik'tor and shook his head.

((Rhysis, post.))

((Okay. Going to try and jump start this thing.))

Steve now had the fragments in his possesion wrapped in a cloth snd tucked into the top of his kit bag. He and the still remarkably silent Jik'tor were now in the hanger with the last remaining zombie.

"I honestly did not see this when we set out." He said with disbeleif as he watched to see what the last reanimated bodies would now do.

The Zombie raises a quizical brow shakes his head. Putting its hands on a large shar portruding out of its throat and yanks it hard with his hands as the shard slips out of the wound the body crumples to the floor and the shard clinks against the floor of the docking area. It was clear that Za Ree Om Would be back to himself in time buthow long would be questionable.

Steven bent down to pick up the shard, when he heard the click of a pulse pistol's safety being removed.

"I really thought you would be harder to find." A voice said from behind them. "You've taken quite a bit of the fun out of this now."

Steve started to turn, but was cut off when the voice sounded again. "No you don't. Lets not pretend you're not going to die."

There was another click, and Steve threw himself to his right, just in time to avoid a pulse pistol blast that struck the body of Za Ree's former host.

Za Ree Om Could hear the pulse pistol fire although seeing it was well to be frank not realistic. The piece that Steven had bent to grab had remained upon the floor infront of the man whom had fired at them. With a slow pulse of the pieces Steven carried Za Ree Om Tried to warn Steve and Jik'tor as the last fragment started to emmit a high near ear piercing harmonic wave.

Jik'tor backed away towards the wall, he was not a soldier like Steve. Steve thought it to be for the best anyway, as Steve needed room to fight. The harmonic wave caused Steve a good deal of pain, and Jik'tor too for that matter. Their opponent too seemed to be effective, and although he brandished his pistol as well, he brought hs other hand up to cradle his head.

Neither man could react for now..

Za Ree Om was aware of the situation but with out being in his natural state of liquid it was nearly impossible for him to do anything of merit other than hurt peoples ears be used as a blade or a door stop. WIth a low vibration through the crystals a thought occured to him. If Steven could chuck a piece of Za Ree Om into the man then he would most likely be able to fight the man on a mental plane and gather some information maybe even cause the mans autonomitc Nervous system to shut off. With a pulsation through the fragments that steve Held the pulse started from the ends closest to Steven and moved towards the pistol holder hoping to get across the idea.

The message got through to Steve, but not in the way expected. He felt it in the back of his mind, and a moment later the shard the former host had dropped was propelled telekinetically cross the room to embed itself in their assailant's shoulder.

It was not the shard that Za Ree Om had anticipated to be embeded into the man but this shard worked just like any other, the mans body would start to feel a chill over coming the extremities shortly there after a tingling numbness would perpetuate his core, this was nothing more than a ruse at the moment to get the man to focus mentally on differnt aspects of his body, and maybe to worry him. That would be the mental in that Za Ree Om would need but he could at least try to force images into the mans visual center allowing him to think he was drownding.

Steve's body went limp and then hit the ground like a dead weight. His brain had just done something it had never been meant to do. It would take some time to right itself.

The man dropped to his knees, the pulse pistol bounced across the ground, and the man started to gasp for breath like he was drowning.

As the Shard and Za Ree Oms Conciousness continued to infiltrate the mans mind and body, The Dreeh-Ehu started to break down the mans autonomic functions it would take a little time but already having the man think he was drowning was helping greatly. He would only need a few seconds more to stop the mans lungs from filling with air on thier own and force the man to breath conciously, or die. The Heart would take a little longer. The Shards Steven had been carrying hit the floor and scattered away from him. Yet with such a body being taken over it would not take too long to cause the mans brain to die and take full possession over a perfectly useable body till his was ready to meld back together again.

Something went wrong. It would start as a simple pulse wave in the right hemisphere of the man's brain, but then it would spread through his entire nervous system. There was a shudder in the man's limbs and a sharp mental shockwave that caused Steve to let out a grunt. Then their attacker dropped to the floor dead.

Steve started to climb to his feet, holding his head between his hands and gasping for breath. His brain had done something again, something human brains were not meant to do.

"Shit." He said when he eventually got himself pulled together. This was getting out of control. His brain was capable of telekinesis and errecting mental defenses. What next?

He went to the corpse of their attacker and began to search the man. He found a small spec ops comm unit and a tiny data core. As well as a phase knife concealed in the man's boot. "Spec ops gear, and an illegal blade. You're an interesting find." He said to himself as he searched. The last thing he found was the key card to a docking bay. Bay 22-7-C. There might be a ship there.

Last of all he pulled the shard free, and then he had an idea. He placed the shard to his arm, and put enough pressure on it to break the skin. If it worked, he should be able to form a mental link with Za're. Although the alien would need to do most of the work. He was still new to this afterall.

The shard breaking through Stevens skin eventually hit the connecting nerves and there was the connection with a slight probing the Dreeh-Ehu could feel Steves thoughts and could share his sight and hearing. Communication would be strange to say the least is he tried mind to mind contact so he sufficed it to try to control stevens Mouth depending on if Steven fought the attempt for control or not would show weather or not he could communicate verbally or if he would need to link his all to alien Mind to Stevens.

Steve had to concentrate to prevent whatever programming had been imprinted upon his mind from blocking it, but the Dreeh-Ehu would be able to communicate with Steve, for now.

Accessing Steves Vocal Cords he spoke " We need to gather the fragments of my body they should be back to normal in a couple of hours, Then we can move seperatly" He said there was no inflection just a bland intonation.

Steve took control back, "I'll put this with the others, then we need to lie low for a while so I can decide what to do next."

The Fragment hummed loudly a moment before a more stable message would be passed into Steves Body " You'll be noticed alone, and hunted if you hide, plain sight is your friend Baazar"
