A coffin lid shifts aside...
Hello ladies and gents. I come from the old country, namely Eden Era (Somewhat), as well as A&E chatrooms, the Roleplaying Games rooms (god have mercy on us for what they are now), and a bunch of the User Rooms back in the day.
Some names that might be remembered:
Razorkiss
Razor_Bloodthorne
Endrin_Sanka
Logan_Project_X
Shining_Iron_Hand
There have been others in a long and storied career of role-playing and writing. When the User Rooms died, like many RP'ers I was sort of orphaned. I had a lot of people that I maintained contact with and roleplayed with via IM. Almost all of those are gone now too. During that time, I discovered Expansion of the Force, which was a gateway to other sites and groups. I was sad to see Eden go under as well, which was only furthered by the death of Geocities.
It's been a long, long time. I remember CheetaChat, and all the fun things it could do... and the headaches. Miss those days. There's a lot of account names and the like that are familiar to me here. Nothing super concrete though, but still recognized. I stopped to check out a couple introductory threads and there were some old screen names that definitely stood out.
Place kinda feels like home. I wonder if it will stay that way.
