It had been a long time comming. The air rushed around the young man, sending waves of dark hair cascading behind him. Midnight wings fluttered in the warm air. A stip of grey satin encircled his head, covering, what used to be eyes. His hands locked onto the railing of the Zephyr, he had always loved this location on the ship. Waves lapped lazily at the bow, spraying Blake every so often. This was his ship, he was the captain. The Zephyr was Blake's corner of the world.

Together they had been through it all, wars, attacks of dragons and kraken, but together they stayed. His crew was sparse now, most had decided to leave the venture, for fear the captian was insane. Sometimes, he was insane, just not today.

Perhaps it was the wind, perhaps it was the water slamming the hull of the ship, whatever it was, Felicia could not sleep. Of course she was used to this, she had been the navigator of the Zephyr, for over four years. Felicia rolled over and stared at the wall. She hated the wall, she had no windows and sometimes there was a small leak in her cabin, but her best friend was here and she loved the traveling they did. So all in all, it balanced out.

On the opposite side of the room, stretched against the wall. Rolled maps and quills lays scattered across the table top. With a final yawn, the siren stood up and moved toward the desk. Quickly shuffeling the scrolls around, she places them in specific bins. Finishing with a smile, she left the room. Of course the hallway was dimly lit, even with the torches going. Happily it didn't smell like mold, the sea air, always kept the cabins serene smelling.

Peeking into the sunlight and fresh air, she giggled. As always Blake was at the bow. With a quick shift of her wings, she slowly lifted up. Opening her mouth, a soft song released. The air became entrangled with the siren's melody. This was their ritual every morning.

It was obvious Felicia was up. No one was able to miss her voice, or course in the best way. Blake's ears perked hearing the siren. A soft smile parted his lips. Moving his hands far apart, his palms facing outward, he began to chant. Onyx energy began to flow from his body, enveloping the ship. Pouring over the ramparts, spiraling up the mast and encircling the railings, the energy poured on and on. "So glad to see you this morning Felicia!" His voice roared in the wind, but compared to the siren's was more than an audible whisper. Laughter slipped into the wind, as an icey hull began to form over the wooden ship. A few drops of sweat dripped from the midnight hair, yet still he poured the polar energies to the ship.

As water slammed into the ship, immediately it crystallized and fell back to the salty depths. The air around the ship snapped with an arctic bite. In the depths below, schools of dolphin and halibut veer from the glacial ship.

Of course she heard Blake, she always heard Blake, even when she didn't care to. She could feel the arctic sting of Blake's magic. A shiver rolled down her spine and back up. Every hair on her arms and legs stood straight up, the feeling always made her giggle inside.

Wings of violet hummed, as the siren floated. Magenta eyes lock on the man in front of her. Softly her voiced fluttered and filled the air. The Zephyr slowly began to rock, as Blakes polar aegis blanketed the ship.

At once, the Zephyr slowly sank. The salty waters rushed over the frozen shield. Felicia's song stopped, slowly she floated to the deck. Her prismatic violet wings folded against her back. Running her right hand through the dark locks, she smiled and moved toward Blake. "Are you sure this is the location?"

Blake shakes his hand, a few strands of the residual magic fall to the ship and explode into tiny ice balls. Adjusting the armlets, Blake turned to face Felicia. "How am I supposed to make a fish stay still...this was the last location I sensed him at.....besides its a huge ocean.." Snorting, he flipped his right hand through the dark bangs that enundated his face. Stepping slowly, Blake moved to a small trunk. Bending over, the magus opens it and pulls forth a small crystal. It was of no particular shape, or size, rather odd looking, honestly. Rolling it in his left hand, he tossed it in the air.

An explosion of light, erupted from the crystal. It floated a few feet in the air, hummed and spun quickly. A beam of light shot forward from the stone, into the icey hull. The fathoms became illuminated with the gems light ray. "HaHaHA..you see..." Blake though blind, points in the exact location the ray points. "Don't be so doubting Felicia.." Blake moves in the way of the light ray, as does the ship. Though in the depths, it moves a bit slower. "Hold on...we are not far...i am quiet sure"

"Of course...of course" She waved off Blake as she walked past him. Taking a deep breath, she slowly starts to hum. The chilly air slowly fills with the almost celtic sounding tune. Spiraling on her right heel, she darts back into the air. "Fine...follow the creature...I will subdue it when we get close enough..maintain your shield this time though!!!" Her voice ripped into the air, rocking the ice barrier. As the melody lingered in the air, the beast came into view.

The beam of light, from the gem, coated the leviathan. The great serpent roared, bearing row after row of ivory fangs. A serpentine tongue darted outward. Its scaled body glowed from the light. Two large black orbs stare angrily at the pair and thier ship.

Over 75 feet in length, the great beast hissed at the ship. Its massive serpent like body, was coated in thick emerald scaled. Much like the armors of the knight, one would find it quiet hard to penetrate. Two large black reflective eyes, stare hungrily at the pair, unblinking. On the end of the leviathans massive tail, lay an array of barbs, both thin and thick. The serpent remained coiled as Felicia sang her siren's song.

Putting both hands forward, Blake slowly exhales. As always, he takes a slow breath. Magic began to pour from the magus' form. His mind retreats to the arctic tundra, he once called home. A flat barren land of ice, chilly winds and silence, that was far from forgiving, unrolled in his head. The glacial barrier of the ship, snapped, popped and hardened. Spikes began to appear on the hull. the ice sharpened to a precise point and elongated from the ice.

A few meters in the front, the illuminated beast roars and slowly began to creep forward.

"I am the voice of your history. Be not afraid, come follow me. Answer my call, and I'll set you free"

Into the air and the dark fathoms, her voice races. At onetime her voice lulled men to their deaths, at others her voice caressed couples into love. Felicia was revered for having the most beautiful voice, one that rivaled the gods and goddess.

"I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain. I am the voice of your hunger and pain. I am the voice that always is calling you. I am the voice, I will remain"

The great beast silenced its roar and looked in awe. Felicia locked eyes with the serpent, her wings lifting her slowly into the air. This was going to well, there were no cracks or mishaps, yet. Her stomach began to churn with excitement. Maybe this would be the final attack with the creature.

"I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain. I am the voice of your hunger and pain. I am the voice that always is calling you. I am the voice"

The siren's voice always did call to him. To his knowledge he was the only one to ever reject her voice. However, if it caught him off guard he might easily fall prey to the melodic witch.

A smile parts the pale lips of the magus. He knew exactly what had happened. "Great job!!" he whispered it, mainly to not cause any ruckus in her song. Gritting his teeth, Blake sent several waves of energy from his body into the shield of the ship. Four volleys of ice spears ripped from the ship. Through the depths they darted, toward the leviathan. Varying in length from 5 feet to 15 feet, each remained perfectly sharp and ready to impale the horrific snake. The beast remained still, as the first few slammed into its scales. A few drawing blood. Shaking its head it glares toward the ship. With a mighty roar, it darts forward, the murky depths quacking with the anger of the snake.

The second volley shreds the outer scales of the snake, one jabbed itself in the open gum of the beast. Crimson blood squirted out and clouded the sea. With a deafening screech, that rang far louder than Felicia's song, it darted closer.
