Gorfan

Gorfan took the coins that were competently divided by the wizard himself...273 galifars and 36 sovereigns would suffice for now. The dwarf silently pocketed his earnings and pondered at how time should be best spent at this point of time.

{OOC: Ok, you guys have a bit of down-time to spend at this point. Typically, its used for crafting items, scrolls, using the profession skill, shopping, ale and whores, etc etc. Make a post giving a brief overview of how you spend the next 2 days.}

Alo

Alo waited for the other two to leave, and then transferred his share of the loot, as well as the spare sovereign, to his purse. Then he left that tavern, and after popping into an alley to don the persona of the aging wizard "Perilur the White" before he headed for the Library of Morgrave University. In all likely hood he could have gotten in wearing Alosoleth the elf, but this person tended to make things go more smoothly.

He started by heading for the spellbooks of the older wizards, who'd passed on and donated their books to the library. They allowed him to perfect a couple of spells he'd been working on; Colour Spray, and Enlarge Person. He'd suggested using Enlarge person in the forge, but they'd been in urgent need, and he was already quite confident about it by then.

The he moved onto the magic missile scroll he'd purchased prior to their last adventure, but he still couldn't make any more progress with it.

He started to think he'd been conned, but then in a moment of inspiration, he managed to get his head around it. After that he moved on to trying to identify that potion they'd found. He decided he could probably do alot better with it now that he wasn't in danger of being killed by warforged.

Well it was something resembling progress anyway. Only the map left to deal with, he decided to head for the famously complete geography collection. He approached a scholar who was working in that section.

"Excuse me dear fellow. Would you perhaps be able to help me with an old rare map that I came into posession of recently?" He asked the man, in full on aging wizard mode.

Ignore the red stuff for now - ((
He was starting to get hungry, and he needed to do some shopping, so he left the Library and swapped back to Alosoleth before heading for the markets. He bought himself a potion of mage armour (50gp); just in case he met any more warforged. He also bought a scroll case (1gp) and a sunros (2gp).

Morgrave Libarary

The scholar is a young half-elf, who smiles at your request and says "I'd be happy to. Maps are a bit of a hobby for me."

He takes the map you have and looks it over. A few minutes later, he says "Are you looking to sell this map by any chance? I know a collector who would pay well for a map this old.

The area it shows is a territory which is now divided between the Mournland and Darguun. I don't know what these other symbols represent. They were probably put there by whoever made the map. Where did you get it from?"

Alo

"Knowledge is far more valuable than gold or silver. No I am trying to solve this mystery, as much for my own piece of mind as anything. A group of adventurers found it in some ruins below the city. They were looking for something else, a schema that once belonged to house Cannith. I tell you lad, it really is rather interesting, well in any case they found this old map, and sold it to me for a few gold coins."

The man nods thoughtfully and says "Perhaps you should ask a member of House Cannith about the symbols then." He rolls the map back up carefully and hands it back to Alo.

Alo

Alo took the map back and put it back in his rucksack. "Well thank you my lad. That is certainly something to set me along the path of discovery." He nodded his head, chuckled to himself and then walked off towards the doors to the library.

He was starting to get hungry, and he needed to do some shopping, so he left the Library and swapped back to Alosoleth before heading for the markets. He bought himself a potion of mage armour (50gp); just in case he met any more warforged. He also bought a scroll case (1gp) and a sunrod (2gp).

Then he payed for a night in an inn, along with a good meal and settled in for the night. The next day he spent scribing two scrolls, each of magic missile. (50gp + 2XP) Then he rested for the night, prepared a selection of spells, and then the next day set off to see if the house had any news about work.

[Stay in Inn 4gp for 2 nights, 1 gp 2 days good food]

As Alo picks up the potion of Mage Armor, he finds that it has the exact same tint and appearance as that potion he found and was researching the other day.

Soryn

This rogue had much to prepare for as jobs and opportunities were plenty for someone of his origin. Thievery, however, failed to be prioritized these next two days as he sought out to prepare himself far better than he had been when he had stumbled upon the others during their adventure. The first thing that had come on the agenda was replacing his tools of the trade for much better ones. Selling the tools he used before, he acquired the profit and quickly upgraded.

(Purchase Thieve's Tools Masterwork - 100gp, Sold Thieves Tools +15gp)

The fact he had relied on that cleric far too much for his own good during that journey made him scoff a bit which is why it was no surprise he went and bought some items to remedy that.

(Purchased two potions of cure light wounds, one mage armor potion - 150gp, one tanglefoot bag - 50gp)

Armor was the last thing he purchased this day, figuring it will lessen the chance he will get slashed or bitten as many times as he had before.

(Purchase Studded Leather - 25gp Sold Leather +5gp)

The day was capped off with a calm stay at an inn and the next day was taken to organize his things so they would not weigh him down.

(Inn with Good Meal twice 4gp)

Gorfan

The time that the cleric had with his Galifars was determined mainly by Gorfan's desire to have the odd meal that wasn't travel rations, and also desiring to face the warforged once again within or without Sharn. He would need all that he could place his broad dwarfish hands upon...potions would suffice, but he could well sell off a few things...such as the scale armour he had picked off the corpse of one foe...or had it been the poor fallen Alhias? The dwarf could not recall, but...Gorfan hurriedly leapt out of the way of a hurrying messenger and a small troupe of guards leading presumably a lord of high stature...the cleric did not recognise the lord upon his warhorse, but nevertheless a curious group of onlookers had already gathered to watch his passing along.

Gorfan moved on afterwards and for the next couple of days to sell some goods collected along the adventure path such as scale mail, a heavy mace and great sword that was once owned by Alhias. He then proceeded to spend some of his hard-earned coinage...

5 Galifars in total for staying two nights in a good inn and 2 good meals.

3 Crowns for three torches.

10 Galifars for a 50ft Silk rope.

150 Galifars for 3 potions of Cure Light Wounds

40 Galifars for 2 flasks of Alchemists Fire.
