OSC-01 took another glance at the card, laying it out in her palm to take a clean photocopy of it. With a passing glance, the robot flicked their wrist to send the card spiraling into Mikodimus' curled brown hair as she slowly moved to the other side of the commons area. "My speculation would be they're using some copy of Sarcom, an old communication platform used for federal scientific research."

The Overseer stood straight with their back against the wall, wings folded. Their white coat has been noticeably cleaned, but the hole burnt into its back laid open to reveal an incomplete and slowly revolving turbine. "If that is true, it means they've been able to get a hold of government systems that predate my inception."

Dahlia scratched her cheek, letting out a firm grunt. It seemed obvious that something wasn't right, but calling that number from an unsecured system probably wasn't the greatest idea. The blue-haired scholar lifted their neck to look at the grouping. "You're right. If we just walk back in and ask, I think we're going to get shot."

The captain sighed, briefly looking at the robot in the room before cutting back to the crew. Between the cold and the possibility for lead to start flying, going back in wasn't exactly a cheerful thought. "I overheard them talking about being on a time crunch. We could wait it out, or maybe shift leads. If this... group has been moving around similar locations, they have to have left some evidence behind. They didn't seem exactly.... tight. But, I believe we may be overstaying our visit here as it is."

OSC-01's pyramid head drifted away from the center of attention, with their gaze ending up falling on the wall. It would certainly be easy to just take off and leave, head for somewhere far away and forget about this. But that didn't hold up long the first time around. A moment later, they returned once more. "You have fulfilled your end of our deal by bringing me here and giving it a chance, and so I shall prepare to hold up my end."

Dahlia nodded slowly, with a small smile warming her face. The robot straightened out their bound feathers with a pause. "It's not in my place to ask, but I still believe there's still unfinished matters here. A 'restoration committee' generally isn't so quick to order eviction- or uproot themselves. I believe they're hiding something."

"And if they've unlocked Sarcom, they may have their hand in quite the..." 'what was the word. "Honeypot."

The heavy footfalls echoed about the hall as the enforcer robot tread back towards the end of the Observatory. Without raising a hand, one of their drones came to float above head height to their side. The static-laden voice of a certain man came back, albeit they sounded distantly busy. "Yes yes, did you throw them out?"

The robot spun it's flat head to the side to face the robot. A deep and guttural synthesized voice responded, equally flat "Affirmative. But Sir, children do not climb through a blizzard for the thrill of a mystery. They're here for something."

Bryce grunted, audibly moving himself closer to the communicator. "Relax, I know. Just focus on getting everything... presentable. While you're there, be a dear and get Robert to move all the old decor into the smallest closer her can find."

Satori didn't yield, but did start moving towards this "Robert. ""What if they're here for the prize."

Bryce chuckled. "I don't think this one will do, they're too well known. We need something more believable to spearhead... real villain. Buut we'll take it anyways. However because someone- " 'Arvero moved his head away from the microphone "GREG- thought it would be a good idea to drive here, we'll need to wait till I can get back with a transport to get the biggun out. If the kids come crawling back in, just..."

The man shrugged, picking up a light mocking tone. "I don't know, turn 'em into paint."

"We would have had a better job of infiltration if we had just stuck to the plan and not caused a raucous." the fox groaned. His statement was just as much a jab at himself for hitting the floor as it was a lunge towards his teammates for bursting in and causing a scene. To be fair, he too did get a hint passionate. The thought of selling the machinery that seemed to him just as human as the rest made his skin crawl.

And he wasn't going to forgive the madman for even humoring the idea any time soon.

He tugged on the scratched up bomber jacket that covered his figure and pressed his palms to the table in the center of the room. "The place seemed to much different going in this time than I remember. It must be that restoration effort... but..." He rolled his jaw. His eyes traced around each one of the fingers of his gauntlet. "Maybe having all of them in there would prove to be... advantageous."

His hand leapt from the table and closed with an index finger jammed towards Osco. "If there's something in there we need, why not let the people with the manpower and the tools do all the heavy lifting, then we swoop in and get... whatever it is we need. Besides, if it's so important for them to want it, who's to say it wouldn't be beneficial for our cause, too?" His expression turned from forlorn into devious. He knew exactly what he was planning and he was hoping at least somebody in the room could catch on.

"I can't say I know what it is they're looking for down there, but if we need it for the expedition, we'll need to find a way to deal with that wall of metal. I can't say if Osco is in any condition to deal with it but..." His arm twisted inwards. He plucked off the glove covering the metal to reveal the one thing everybody knew good and well by now. "I know just who might be capable of giving their little bodyguard a run for its money."

A somewhat disheveled Rhea wandered in, shaking the snow off of her. Seems she had been busy outside for, well, longer than she perhaps should have been. On top of the shennanigans she was roped into with marie and the others not so long ago, she did infact find a secluded area to test her more... flashy tricks. But that was no longer on her mind clearly, as she walked into the ship and observed those present, before heading over to stand somewhat near the warmest member of the crew, shaking the snow off her even now.

"I uh..." She looked at the other members of the crew, then the scholar and the robot, her breif interuption to the lull of voices coming to a halt. It somehow, didn't feel right to bring up what she really wanted to talk about at this very moment, so instead... "I, could probably take a look around after dark. I want to say I could even do it now but, I don't think I can stick to the ceiling forever. We shouldn't even need to all go down there if they've already... excavated whatever it is we are already looking for but, wouldn't they expect us to probably come back?"

She stamped her feet on the ground, rubbing her still gloved hands again. While this suit was pretty warm... it still let a bit of the cold in. Or rather, when she finally reached up and took the hood off her face, peelign it away, it was clear that somehow or another, she had a fist full of snow stuffed into her suit. Her entire head looked like it had been coated with snow, and it melted afterward. As she took off the winter gear, she shivered and stood even closer to the warmest member of the crew. AKA, her new best friend..

"... Also is it just me or, are alot of the crew members... connected to this place in one way or another?" She asked, clearly holding back a sneeze. The cold took a small toll, it seemed.

Marie entered the commons, much later than everyone else...by two hours. She glanced around, making sure a certain person wasn’t present. Of course, he was there. Dammit.

She instead defaulted to going into the lab, sitting down and starting to toss a few ideas around...until she realized that in the corner of her vision was an incredibly bright spot. Not bright as in the five normal senses, bright as in the sixth in the form of a glowing core in the drawer. A curious thing...what was it? She gingerly put on a thick safety glove, retrieving it out of the drawer and placing it down next to her array of sensors and more she used to not only make components for the crew, but also her own projects. Then she started looking around, upon which immediately she noticed something.

"This is a repair request," Marie noted. But...she had no parts to repair it with. She could print some new parts but it wouldn't make it in time for Osco's combat body to be active for when they needed it. She could cannibalize her own drive- no. She wasn't cannibalizing anything...but then she looked behind her desk. And in the waste bin was a perfectly intact driver. Or at least, as intact as possible after what Marie did to it by dissecting it apart. Osco did mention something about the similarity between keys and Arcadian technology...could Reman's old driver work? It would almost be like a heart transplant, but it stood a good chance of working out.

So she got to work. Some surgeons muttered prayers before doing important surgeries; Marie muttered curses at Romulus before doing this very important surgery. Broken valves and tubes were replaced with emergency-bent tubing and repurposed valves. The dead converter was replaced with the imperfect converter from the driver. And as she repaired, she learned. She remembered. The crystal in the center must have been the 'Echyllis' referred to by the machine, the words echoing within her mind, the reality she controlled, the current universe that was nothing but her, her desk, and the things she was working with.

"A nasty old material, some would call it a force. At least a little bit of it can be found strained down into anything and everything of worth. Creatures, planets, stars. I too am designed around a core of the substance. A condensed, crystallized fuse, to be exact. It may be a hunch, but I believe some of it has trickled down to these... keys you two keep mentioning," the robot had said, just mere hours ago.

"A force...a fuse?" she mused, her consciousness slowly beginning to feel like it was floating out of her body. Her hands worked on autopilot, the casing being opened, studied, modeled, and printed anew. Her mind considered, sometimes hijacking one of her hands away from the task to write new notes, new ideas on what the things she was holding was, mere theories with high implications to everyone here.

She was holding a key. A pun in many layers. On the most obvious layer, the crystal within -- the fuse, she assumed, made of this Echyllis -- was what was used in keys. That much was apparent by contrasting it with what scans she got from her analysis of Cyclone. How Romulus found these things were a mystery to her. But that wasn't the important part.

She could be holding the key to near boundless energy as well as potentially the answer to all of physics. This Echyllis crystal, if she was right, was a substance found normally in energized compounds. It emitted radiation, produced energy, and seemed to have boundless amounts of it...she could very well be holding the answer to the old Unified Theory of Physics. The formula to end all formulas. The God-equation.

She could be holding the key to the Unified Arcane Theory. After so many lab tests, so many mages, so many disagreements between the scientists and the artisans of the arcane, so many discarded humanities deep underground...and she was the one holding the thing that could be the explanation of how magic, sages, alchemy, and all other arcane arts worked -- and if this was the culmination of the Unified Theory of Physics, it would tie all of science in too.

And for the first time in her life, she properly felt like she was on the edge of a breakthrough. It was a wonderful feeling, working so close to the dark void of unknowns. It was even more wonderful when one realized that he or she was pushing that dark void back, forcing it to flee from her presence as she unraveled secret after secret. A great breakthrough...

The key in her own mind began to turn. Repressed memories, from...how many years ago must have they been? How many years has it been since she fit that crystal she found in that cave into that odd shell? What was that cave? Why was she in the cave?

Blip.

The drop of Echyllis liquid from her slightly forced closing of the automaton's heart shocked her back to reality with its strange icy-hot-tingly burn. The feeling was somewhat familiar, echoing something deep, deep down in the murky depths of her mind. She gently wiped the stain off her hand.

"It's done," Marie noted. An imperfect job with improvised parts, but it would work at perhaps 80% of the intact power output. Not too bad for an imitation using salvaged parts.

"Ha ha, well why shouldn't we barge in and pull a sneaky on them? So what if they have federal connections, I think we shouldn't let a little bit of that stop us from the inevitable robbery we're gonna be upholding! We just need to be a bit more tactful, and maybe, just maybe, try some very insane strategy called... Coordinating. If I may add, I say that teamwork would actually make the dream work for everyone." Although genuine, the real driving motivation for even bringing that up was because he feels... Pity isn't the right word, but it's the best he can do to sum up how he feels like about this team. Even the lousy kid can do something great, but they got the coordination of a man who's whole body is on manual.

He doesn't like to see whole-manual people walking about. Disgusting and weird!

"Now, couple of suggestions: one, we could probably use a map of the area. Two, plan teams. Three... Good thinking there, Deimos, real good thinking there. Four, I realized I didn't have fucking breakfast, where's that foodmancer guy we used to have?"

ISS Downridah

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but... I think Juryrig's got a good idea. Coordination is probably the only way you could pull off robbing those guys." The diminutive pilot sniffled a couple of times, quietly, to herself. She knew better than to try and convince the group to not take the first obstacle they came across as something they could overpower with strength alone. Or the second. Or the third, or fourth... Hell, one of them was punching the coffee maker to try and get it working again. Nearly broke it permanently...

"Though, if you guys have any plans that use the ship directly, like landing right outside just as they're heading out, I'd like to remind you that this is our only way out of the frozen wasteland. So, y'know, try to think about that before jumping to trying a repeat of Demios's interruption of the Overseer from the last facility we were at."

Romulus was pacing. There were so many things going through his mind, It was difficult to process the volume of the problems he had at that moment. Addressing them each, he thought of how to solve his problems...

First up; The Observatory.
Tackling that would require a quieter finesse. Something that Romulus surprisingly was not truly that adept in, but familiar with. Illusion would need use... But how would they actually enter? The pipe he did a 'demonstration' on was already partially severed, but that really doesn't matter. Zone... Zone wouldn't work unless they had a clear view of the location they would portal into... Maybe a photo? Unless they had a clear photo he could end up going god knows where. He'll probably talk to the crew about it.

Second up; The Hunting Party.
And he thought he would like that madman. What a damn shame. Clearly nobody would believe him if he told them the danger they were in, but regardless, he had to carry on his mission. Marie was the biggest threat there. Someone who had technical knowledge at the lab AND access to any version of his research with driver tech was clearly someone to be reckoned with. She lacks fighting experience though, and still isn't as careless as Juryrig though. He doesn't care enough about property not to deal damage. But the real threat...

Third; REMAN.
Reman.
Reman, Reman, Reman.
Why did Beta have to be like this? A scared, gullible child that doesn't remember anything but the fact that you hunt him. That beast, That ugly specter of your mistakes-

It was best to leave the third till later, lest he get mad.

Romulus simply stated "Did anyone take pictures of the observatory? I'd like to see one."

"I have to agree with Jury. Clearly they know we are here so are going to expect us to try something. Lets grant that wish and setup an ambush when they come out." Miko lifted himself off and away from the wall to take a small walk. "I am not saying we use lethal force but we are permitted to defend ourselves from these guys. I am currently running a background check on them to see if they are in the system for any unlawful deeds."

Miko made his way over to a command console and typed in a few commands. The screen popped up an active search looking to cross reference names and aliases that could match Bryce. He was also using the image he took of him to do an image look up also. If this guy was dirty Miko would find it and then assert his authority.

OSC-01 remained stationary, letting an eye fall on the small girl that had just walked in. "It would be too dangerous to send you back in now. I can have one of the Pixys scout ahead should the time come."

The robot looked forwards once more, both eyes looking straight through the pacing man across the room. It seems like he was starting to break down already. "I have current photographs from the nave but nothing more. They haven't seemed to change any of the actual architecture, so I believe the rest of the building may be at least familiar."

Dahlia rubbed her eyes, nodding her head towards Mikodimus "No to the lethal force. I can't afford a court case for anything living."

The scholar then looked up at the Overseer, then back to Deimos, and then back to her. Osco cut a gaze and gave a quiet "hrmf" at being reminded of the box incident from the shortest in the room. "So, you've been here before? The name wasn't just book-smarts?" The question may have been directed at the both of them.

The Overseer paused, taking a moment to give themselves a proper slap within the confines of their own mind. "A few times, ages ago. Though it's not quite as warm as I remember."

"Merry," Dahlia stated passively as she looked over at Juryrig and Arbitrated. She was right, this was going to require a bit more cooperation than before. After pondering the though about in her mind, the captain shot back to the robot in question. It was time to test this deal. "Then I suppose you won't mind being the first inside once the coast is clear? Whatever we're looking for, you know the most about it. I am fine staying so long as my crew is, but you seemed to be the most... appropriately armored for any traps."

The Overseer gave a humored hum, unwavering. "So be it."

Engineering

As Marie held up the core, she could hear a small beep- but not from the device itself. With a fwoosh, the bottom left desk drawer was slid open, a triad of white and green Pixy units at its base. The Pixy unit made a series of quiet beeps and berts, it's head rolling towards the open drawer.

One of the other units took a scuttle forwards, raising its head and playing a live audio feed from the main room. "My speculation would be they're using some copy of Sarcom, an old communication platform used for federal scientific research."

The feed of the conversation continued its playback until the room reached the topic of reentering the Observatory. Upon being called, the Pixy units paused to look at each other, with a series of confused beeps. They scuttled back and forth briefly, almost as if they were choosing the short straw for the job. A moment later, they returned to face Marie with some kind of conclusion. The lead unit pulled a leg up, before throwing it down to tap the side of the drawer.

Engineering

“Sarcom...what?” Marie idly asked as she opened the drawer, putting the core in. The Pixy seemed to emphasize that last bit. Federal Science Research.

Research. Science.

Oh. Fuck.

Marie immediately grabbed the Pixy that played the feed out of the drawer, holding it up, face-to-glowing eyeball.

“Tell me everything.” Marie stated, slightly unintentionally threatening to the poor little machine. “Quietly. No one else needs to hear this.”

Rhea opened her mouth ready to argue about it being dangerous, but, quickly closed it as well. Yeah, it was dangerous, and it WOULD be nice to have somone else go first for a change. Still, the fear of getting caught becuase somone else went first, and the overseer getting caught in a trap nagged at her a bit. But, she gave a smile and a nod. It was nice to have people looking out for you. "mmm Allright... Well, I uh... You know what I'll, argue about that with you, later." When no one else is around to hear. She thought to herself.

Feeling just a bit stressed from the fact that two of the people she hated and feared were in the same room with her in such close proximity, she shivered again and practically flopped on the small, warm person next to her. "Aghh Help i'm, dying of cold. saavvee mee." While just a tad over dramatic, it wasn't untrue that she was still feeling frosty from that last outing. Even if this was mostly just to try and ignore how bad she felt about going anywhere with... Well, a madman, and somone who looked close to the edge himself. She did her best not to let her nervousness show. Nope, don't let the crazy people smell the fear. Rhea hoped that juryrig's and romulous's apparent madness wasn't contagious. And then she sneezed, and hoped that wasn't contagious either as she sniffled.

Already though, she was feeling better as the grimey snow evaporated away. Her hair was still sticking to her face and scalp, but it wasn't as bad as before. "Blehg is... there time to use the shower before we do, whatever it is we're doing?" Of course it, wasn't just the snow that caused that soaked look. With how good the suit was at keeping the cold out before it was opened up, it was pretty good at keeping the head in, too.

Mikodimus looked to Dahlia with a smile. "Noted, nonlethal force it is." He commented as his smile changed into a grin. Clearly he had no reason to kill these people. Would be far better to capture and take them back to base. If the authorities didn't want them, there was surely someone else who would.

The tiny pilot uttered out a little mumble of some kind when the other redhead flopped on top of her, kinda-ish knocking her over slowly. She just kinda... Let it happen. There wasn't really a way to get out from this position without making him fall over, anyways...

"Though, since we know where we're going, if we're planning to cause a ruckus it might be better to park the ship a little bit closer. I can keep the engine idling in case things get nasty, but a long-ass trek through the snow will be a big problem if there's a pressing issue."

Reman was in major internal turmoil. There were two options laid out before him, and neither were to his benefit. On one hand, you had the homicidal maniac known as Romulus, touting tech past the research he had obtained, with no real knowledge of how it worked. On the other, a huge menacing drone that had at least some underlying motives that were less than trustworthy. He thought both would lead him to certain destruction. He had contemplated staying in the ship for now, but he knew if things go bad, the crew might need every bit of muscle they can get...

Reman thought to himself for a moment.

His key started to glow a little as his mind was filled with thoughts of his past. Something felt wrong with how he remembered everything. Like something was missing, a key piece that tied everything together. It's like a terrible dream... Like as if it never felt real.

A jarring bit of conversation jolted him out of his stupor. Reman looked around frantically to see what was going on around the ship before letting out a big, relieved sigh. The key ceased glowing, and he was back in reality.

As he came to a decision, he could only feel frustration in himself.

"So, does anyone have a clear method to enter? Maybe the front door isn't such a good idea..." Reman timidly said.

Ausse simply sighed at the plan of sending the priceless age-old overseer head first into the observatory probably now riddled with traps and other surprises in anticipation for their next visit, but aside from another infiltration attempt – which was unlikely to succeed given the Union's awareness of the crew's, well, presence – the informant could think of no better plan. And so, with a click, he detached his cloaking device from his wrist.

"If you need me, I'll be by the engineering bay getting something fixed," Ausse said, shaking his head before keeping his promise and directing himself on over to the entrance to engineering, clutching his now-loose bracer in his hand to bother whichever of the engineers first inquired about it.

The Pixy unit splayed its legs momentarily as it was hoisted up, looking at the scientist. After a moment, a hushed voice returned, patched together by syllables. "Sarcom was in service for centuries leading up to the downfall of the Grand Republic of Avisten. Several deep blacksite servers remain even after their collapse, but we were never able to find a way in. The men in the black and teal appear to have access, and are using it for some form of recruitment."

Dahlia rubbed her hands in an attempt to accelerate their thawing as she looked back at Rhea. "I heard them say they were on a schedule, we should have a few hours. Down the stairwell and at the end of the hall," 'she explained, as if needing to. The young girl had become accustomed to living on the ship, as odd as the circumstances were. "Do you remember any other entrances?"

OSC-01 was unresponsive for a while, cycling through old and shelved memories. It was somewhat unfortunate that many were spared from the idea of "gathering dust," but in the end the picturesque ones would provide the best image. After a moment, the Overseer returned. "A few. The least invasive option would be an old bunk room on the left side of the building at the basement layer. If the door is still there under the snow, it should put us under the nave."

Dahlia nodded, pressing her hands on her knees to stand. "Then we'll check it out once the coast is clear. For now," she started, "I'm going to change. Arbs, keep the engines warm but quiet. We'll meet back in an five and check the situation."

The captain walked towards the 'cabins' behind the others, stopping to catch the cold arm of the Overseer that had barely shrugged off the wall. "Hey- My ship, my crew, our time. They're my responsibility if something goes wrong, so I'd like some clarity on who you're looking for."

The Overseer cast a widened green eye over to the scholar, a bit surprised by the sudden charge. The motion and statement, however, did garner a light increase in respect for the captain. Their triangular head pointed ahead once more. "I take it I'm not in that second one yet," they paused, "Very well. I'm looking for BTC-03- informal name Ferrus, another guard in my product line. He's a large combat biped, a Breaker-Type model. The big oaf has got a heart of gold though... wouldn't hurt a fly so long as it wasn't threatening anyone."

Dahlia nodded, having heard a bit of the information before. However, there was something a little different about the description. "And if he's still here, do you think he would have contracted that virus?"

OSC-01 remained still. "The virus was tailored to target base Overseer code. Breaker-Types were rare to come by even in the hayday of Oakland. I'd be more concerned about that loud mans hound."

Dahlia nodded, still not entirely convinced, before releasing the significantly stronger arm.

Six Hours Later
Alipier Observatory Exterior

Having given the Union a wide berth, the initial survey of the area showed no further activity beyond a set of wide tire tracks cut deep into the snow. The ships pilot was able to find a better landing area not too far down from the observatory's basin. Now, the group was treading once more through the fresh powder- albeit the previous blizzard had given way to a cloudy sky cast pink by the evening sun.

Fronting the group was the Overseer in their physical form, not bothered by the frigid air in the slightest as they kept their best attempt at even strides up the mountain. They didn't bother to bring that spare core with them for now, as it would need time to charge before seeing any use. And, the captain wasn't exactly involved in the repair request process. Said captain called out from beside them. "So, what does your little Pixy see?"

The Overseer slowed as they crept in on the left side of the temple, which rested blanked in snow taller than anyone in the group. Parts of the mountain were visibly cut away, revealing a thick grey brick wall that ran up its side. However, there was no sign of the door. From the other side of the temple, a lone Pixy unit remained clenched to the wrought iron detailing of the observatory windows. "No signs of activity in the main halls, or notable heat signatures- but something is different inside. They've changed the linens..."

Dahlia coughed. "Alright, where's the entrance then?"

OSC-01 stopped, their wingtips leaving a fine-cut trail in the snow behind that waved them like ribbons. "It should be..." the robot paused, their head following the trim of the wall as if they were counting the bricks. Five, six, seven, the Overseer raised a wing, their primary pronounced at a particular pile of powdery precipitation. It ran several meters deep. "There."

Rhea wobbled along, following behind the captain and the overseer, her arms waving out to the sides as if she were balancing on something- particularly when the snow was especially deep, capable of swallowing her into its depths. Under the mask of her snowsuit, she had a look of intense concentration, muttering all the while. 'Ah, wish I'd had a chance to talk to them before I went to sleep' and similar sentiments. Almost right away after the meeting had concluded infact, did the child go become less smelly than she was before, and immediatly found a place to crash. Although she certainly felt better, the soreness that she had been experiencing before the nap didn't lessen... or, more accurately, it migrated from her arms to her legs.

"Why is something always sore..." When the overseer finally did stop, pointing at the big mound of snow, Rhea glanced at it curiously, and, thought maybe, the practice from earlier might come in handy. "Ah, should we, start digging?"

Rhea asked as she shook the last vestiges of sleepyness away, and, placed her feet a little wider apart for more stable footing. "... right how uh, to do this..." She asked herself, staring intently. While she wasn't sure how deep it was, considering the rest of the snow here... Well, at least a few feet from the surface would be fine, right? With that line of thinking, she did a sort of leg sweep, her whole body shifting to the side, and very quickly, her hand raised to the sky- At the same time, a somewhat jagged, uneven crystal 'sheet' appeared from the wall below the surface... and raised up. Although, the effectiveness of said sheet's ability to hold the snow was questionable.

The Outer Spookzone

Arbles suppressed a yawn as the group traversed the snowland, occasionally looking to the sky - the pink was a comfortable color for her, and she liked that. Too bad her feet were getting soaked, though. Heat or no heat, having wet feet suuuuuuucks! "I was expecting Juryrig to try just setting everything on fire again, to be honest. This might work, though. Might."

Alipier Observatory Exterior

Juryrig chuckled behind Arbitrated. Steam gently vented off his form as the snow melted, glowing veins indicating he drank that he drank that one potion that heats him up comftorably. He finally remembered his huge haversack; instrumental in carrying everything he wanted!

"Oh fuck no, I wanted to shoot you at the mound and hope for the best! You make a great incendiary projectile, and all things considered, snow is very inconvenient, even to me, mostly because I haven't even figured out how to get rid of it yet."

"Well, I lied,"
he corrected himself, "I do have a way..." The madman stared at Arbitrated for a uncomfortably long time, before muttering a command. "Munchie boy, have at it!"

The haversack squirmed, and out popped the mechanical plant of doom! It zipped over to the snow, and it started shoveling huge balls into its mouth, compressing volumes of snow that are easier greater than its own size, and then throwing them out to the side. Occasionally it'd clear snow from the questionably reliable crystal sheet, but it mostly concerned itself with snow that Rhea missed. It was, after all, a mound that was meters thick.

"Would you look at that, something with a function other than being quirky." The fox boy huffed, a slight grin on his face. "And once the snow is cleared, how will we know we can get in without causing a disturbance?" He shuffled his feet around in the powder, his arms curled around his chest in an attempt to stow away as much heat as he could. Though he wished he could have nicked one of the madman's beverages, he had an odd feeling the side effects would not be worth what a cloak and a bomber jacket could pull off at least decently.

He rolled his lips side-to-side. If Osco had been in this structure before, she would surely know the machine that dwelt within it. He knew every moment they spent around this structure was one that brought them closer to seeing it face-to-face. It didn't help that a new threat reared its head within its walls - as if he didn't already have enough of a reason to hate the observatory.

"If anything, we best have someone ready to strike in case there's somebody behind the door when it opens up." He capped his sentence off by pulling his hollow gauntlet away and strapping it to his belt. There's an audible click as his pata attaches at his elbow. "To take anybody down before they have a chance to alert that suit and his glorified refrigerator."
