. o (I will post continuations to this scene daily if no one interacts with it prior. I am highly active on weekdays if anyone jumps in my reply will potentially be rapid during traditional work hours. My evenings are a little more busy.)

Dai opened the door of the mansion and took his first step through it. Instantly his eyes were met with a blinding and familiar light and he could feel the door no longer pressing against his skin. As his vision gradually recovered he stood slightly crouched as if he were expecting a group of wild beasts to be standing around him. Once he and sight had become reacquainted with each other he immediately went about surveying his new surroundings. A wave of delight hit him when he discovered he was standing amidst a well constructed city. Hopefully this meant he could actually acquire some much needed items and perhaps an actual room of sorts. Dai brushed off his bark brown vest and the sleeves of his hunter green shirt as he started to make his way down the street. Thrice disjuncted, he thought, the outer realms are a bit more trigger happy about deportation.

Not far from Dai's sights a new building would seemingly pain the scenery. Dai would notice it immediately if it caught his eye, which considering it's stark contrast to the rest, would not be difficult to do. This was a home familiar to the world that it had landed on, but not by a great many who had not found their way to the bed of a former cohabitant who had only recently found their end. Inside, Abram Nerenhauk looked down at the massive and complex orrey that seemed to fill the room he hovered gently within and sighed. He didn't want to be back here, but he knew that if Dai had made it this close to the source, something had to be done.
